But you dont have to agree or disagree with everyone's opinion as per stated in your title.. "Who is the best for us".

This sorted it out. Nice one mate.

MJ, hands down. totoong complete player. confidence supreme. LBJ, i still question his psyche in close and important games. MJ win or lose will take that shot, LBJ will pass to open man in first opportunity. just saying.

Michael Jordan.

over confidence simply means "buwaya" like KB who is a scorer and individualist..

don't forget to remember that basketball is a teams game..

everyone must be a team player especially in crucial time. that is the essence of basketball..

that is evident in Russell Era....

MJ, hands down. totoong complete player. confidence supreme. LBJ, i still question his psyche in close and important games. MJ win or lose will take that shot, LBJ will pass to open man in first opportunity. just saying.

Again I stand by what I said.. MJ is the GOAT.. regardless of stats or trophies.. no disrespect to others..but watching him play during those days made us want to play the game.. aminin natin when we were young we tried to immitate his moves.. not russels move..nor wilts doiminance..not evens magics flash and brilliance..to have that impact makes the guy great.. and for me the best..

This is a classic Manong Dimmu's "exchanging of ideas" hahahahahaha

Like what Manong Dimmu will always point out na MJ's not even versatile :
As far as galing, i dont think so na ganun sya kagaling, Di sya versatile katulad ni Magic Johnson na pwedeng maglaro from Center to point guard.  Michael Jordan is not even effective in playing point guard position. He can play only SG and SF position..
You really don't need to play multiple positions to be considered versatile. Versatility is what a player can do offensively and defensively. Evident na agad yan sa stats. Kaya i really don't see the point of that. Magic is 6'8 kaya he had the option to play center occasionally nung na injured si Jabbar.

Versatile players? Andyan sila Bird, MJ, Oscar Robertson, Jason Kidd, LBJ at marami pa. Unnecessary for them to play center just to rebound or block shots, but they all can score, pass, rebound, play defense consistently.

Mas safe na may category by era yung best ever kasi malaki yung difference talaga.

In respect for Russell and Wilt's era, madaming HOF dyan.

Pero both of them are game changers dahil na rin yung talent nila ay ahead of other players sa era nila. Kaya they dominated. Also FYI Wilt can do fade away shots. Ibang level din yung energy ni Wilt to average 50 ppg. at na take advantage nya kasi yun dahil sa size and athleticism which is uncommon sa era na yan.

Notable Players Per Era

60s: Bill Russell = Best Defensive player of that era and probably of all time.
Wilt Chamberlain = Dominated the era offensively. Biggest and most athletic center of that era.
Bob Cousy = Best PG IMO in tha era.
Jerry West = Clutch at NBA LOGO lol
Oscar Robertson = All around, versatile guard.
Elgin Baylor = One of the best scorer and rebounder of that era at 6'5

70's era : Kareem Abdul Jabbar = Unstoppable
Julios "Dr. J" Erving = most athletic of that era, without him probably walang MJ, kobe, lebron etc.
Bill Walton = great center in his prime
Walt Frazier = best PG in the 70s
Bob Lanier, George IceMan Gervin, Pete Maravich.

80's Era and 90s Era. Madami na dyan, most of us are familiar na. MJ, Johnson, Bird, Hakeem, David Robinson.

We're actually convinced that MJ is the GOAT pero let's consider other HOF. Lahat na mention ko, they revolutionized NBA because of their talent. They have multiple championships.

it means u didnt understand what im really trying to say. Im not saying that Jordan is not versatile, what im saying is he is not like of Lebron or Magic that can play multiple positions. You name it, and LBJ and Magic can do it on the court unlike Jordan who is limited to two or 3 positions. LBJ shows this versatility of a complete player in their last game series against the bigger Indiana Pacers who is anchored of a 7'2" center.

In the playoffs, with Chris Bosh injured and the Heat lacking enough quality fours and fives, James has spent a good deal of time at the four spot against a very large Indiana team. People claim that Miami's roster has too many holes to win a championship as currently constructed, but as long as they have James, they only need to have their stars playing at high level to win it all.

And if your saying that because Jordan lack the size to play 4 or 5, THINK TWICE because Sir Charles Barkley standing at 6'6" but considered to be at 64" played C, PF, SF positions and he excelled. Even today, look at Chuck Hayes, standing at 6'6", is playing at center position. Even De Juan Blair at 6'7 is at center position.

So what are u talking about height?

U are not doing your homework properly before posting it here..

Yung term mo kasi ng versatility ay playing multiple positions and then biglang not trying to say na that Jordan is not versatile? :-)

Doi, di ako pinanganak kahapon the way you commented, feeling mo ikaw lang nakakaalam niyan. Alam na natin may mga multiple positions, kaya nga may term na combo guard, swingman, forward-center, point-forward, kasi may mga players na sadyang di comfortable maglaro sa position na ideal for their height. Ofcourse all respect for Barkley at naging effective yung game nya. Also Iverson is the best example for a combo guard and considerably one of the best 6'0 scorers kasi idol nya si Jordan, so he wanted to play like MJ despite his height. Jordan is a natural scorer, ideal sa height nya, why would he even bother to play PF for the Bulls kung meron naman Horace grant or Rodman to rely on that position? He didn't have to play that position pero instead, he learned to become more effective scorer with his post-up game, whether it's on low or high post, that's versatility as a scorer na agad.

It's simple for Jordan, he doesn't have to play PF-C to impress people if he can score anywhere, and do everything on both ends of the floor.
In Lebron's case, obviously nung napadpad sya sa Miami, he really have to play PF position kasi they lack decent big man, kudos to him! Chris Bosh nga ayaw maging Center dati if you remember. Napilitan lang kasi no choice. Then biglang nauso yung small-line up to take their quickness advantage against bigger teams, favorite line-up yan ni Spoelstra.
Kasi may Varejao at Ilgauskas, then may Shaq at Ben Wallace. Instead naging point-forward ang position/role nya dun.

Take note pag na discuss ang versatility of a basketball player, it means what he can do on both ends of the floor, not just being able to play multiple positions. He can stay as a PG all the way of the game pero he can rebound and score. In today's ERA maalala mo dyan si Rondo, he's a natural point guard, but he's an all-around and versatile player. Pero di mo sya makikita playing forward position. So yung point mo na kayang maglaro ng multiple positions kagaya nila Lebron at Magic para matawag na versatile kagaya nilang dalawa...well hahahahaha  :-\
