im not questioning the talents of bill russell's era but the ware and tare a player gets playing 82 games per season plus playoffs games imagine playing on your home court and playing again the next day on the road plus the physicality of the players on MJ's era
What im trying to say is tougher ang competition nun kasi konting teams, mas magagaling ang mga players kumpara ngayon. Every game dapat ilabas mo ang galing mo noon unlike ngayon na pwedeng magaling ka ngayun tapos relax ka sa sunod kasi mahina yung team na katapat mo.Secondly, the 60's era, was a more physical era. There were no sissy flagrant or hand-check fouls during that time. Refs allowed those physical tactics go unpunished because the owners and NBA management believe that blood and violence was what brought people to basketball games back then.
bakit nasama si Caidic dito? pero The Triggerman is definitely the finest shooter Philippine basketball has ever produced.Reggie Miller, maybe one of the greatest clutch player and one of the best shooter in the NBA but not the best ever.Dwayne Wade, common, he's not the best, and among shooting guards he's not the best either. MJ and Kobe and even Clyde Drexler were ahead of him.Larry Bird, offensively (specifically shooting the ball) and rebounding he's better than Lebron but overall aspect of basketball. maybe the Birdman is 2nd all-time among the best small forward in the NBA next to LBJ.
that's true.. because of this what we called media hype. but it doesn't justify that because of that, pwede na nating sabihing sya na nga. We are talking here extra ordinary talent and skills..Even Phil Jackson select Bill Russel over MJ if he asked to start a team considering he handles MJ and he rely only statistically over Russell.
alam ko center ang position ni birdman... LOL..
are u all saying MJ is some kinda overrated??thru media and merits given to him..di kc natin pede i pag compare sila kc mag kaka ibang era sila lumabas...Eto lang sa kin Wilt and Russell are Centers they should be dominatingMagic and Bird both are 6'9'' they should be dominatingBut MJ merely 6'6" how he dominated a not a game but an ERA is quite amazing..kung di xa siguro umalis nung 94 at 95 siguro 8 rings ang Bulls
