How to get an International Driving license?

Can anyone tell me how to get an international driving license? Where to get it? and What are the requirements?

I've been searching in the net and i found one but i just want to know from those who experience or have experience in getting it. thanks in advance.

haynakuuu... madalas naman di tinatanggap yan sa ibang bansa e. lalo na dito sa amerika wala silang paki dyan. bastat alam nila pag may regular DL ka sa bansa mo valid ito for 30 days from your date of arrival as a tourist driver.

International Driver's Permit

An international driver's permit is a translation into several languages of the vehicle classes which the holder of the permit is authorized to drive. An international driver's permit is not valid unless accompanied by a valid driver's licence issued by the same jurisdiction as the international driver's permit.

This driver's licence is used primarily for verification purposes during police checks. In Québec, international driver's permits are not issued by the SAAQ. To obtain one, contact CAA-Québec

May drivers license ako sa pinas pag punta ko dto not valid..nag take pa ako nang written test den pumasa ako binigyan nila ako nang permit to drive pero hinde mag isa dapat may kasama na may valid DL..den last na yong driving testna may police na nakaupo sa passenger front seat ..ang tagal at hustle magkuha nang DL pag nasa ibang bansa ka..sa pinas bayad ka lang tapos wait ka na lang nang ilang weeks den may DL ka na...

kulang sa training, kulang pa sa disiplina. makahawak lang ng manibela akala magaling nang driver

simple lang ito.

mangangailangan ka ng International Driving Permit kung ang stay mo abroad ay more than 30 days.

1. driver's license na valid for at least 6 months.

2. passport na valid for at least 6 months.

3. picture (either 2x2 or 1x1, not sure - check mo sa website the Automobile Association of the Philippines)

4. punta ka sa office ng AAP, either sa New Manila (malapit sa St. Paul's QC or Alabang, malapit sa ATC. sila ang authorized mag-issue ng International Driving Permit.

5. ang ibibigay na permit sa iyo ay valid for 1 year or until the expiration of your driver's license or the expiration of your passport, whichever comes first.

kung 30 days or less ang stay mo abroad, di mo na kailangan nito.
