Nowadays. Mas economical na automatic kesa manual. Mas mahal nga lng ung unit compared. Pero i guess in the long run, mas makakamura k n sa matic dahil fuel efficient...

been hearing a lot regarding this.. so it really is true that automatic is more fuel efficient than manual transmission cars?

Ive been using a Corolla for 2 years then nag avail na lng ng Company Car na Yaris H/B later para wala ng masyadong sakit sa ulo. The Corolla A/T 1.6 has an average of 16 km per liter mileage while the Yaris A/T 1.3 has 28 km per liter. Pero mostly Hi way driving yan mga sir.  Any M/T users so that we can compare?

may nabasa ako na article na malapit na daw alisin or phase out sa US ang mga manual na sasakyan kasi daw yung mga bago na modelo na automatic is more efficient kesa sa manual.

pero kung pang laro laro lang mas gusto ko ang manual tapos resing resing set up

matic for work manual for play... pero kung mahilig ka mangadyot dapat manual kasi kahit anong kadyot gawin mo sa matic allang mangyayare...

5years din ata ako nag drive ng manual tapos ngayon puro matic na, pag long drive mas maganda matic di masyado pagod un nga lang medyo nakakaantok pag madaling araw.

hindi naman ako jeepney driver o taxi driver o uber/grab o cargo van driver... drive lang ako from home to work and back... max na siguro ang 2hrs driver per day... so dahil ganun lang ang driving ko walang problema sa akin ang manual kahit traffic pa yan. pede naman kasi i-neutral tapos apak sa brake o maghand brake. yaan mo nalang yung ibang bubusina dahil nagmamadali.. pasingitin mo na lang sila

yung nagsabi naman regarding mas fuel efficient ang automatic vs manual... I beg to disagree... yung efficiency po ay wala po sa transmission type.. ang efficiency ay nasa fuel consumtion vs distance ratio. kung ang rating ng sasakyan mo ay 1 liter to 20 kms regardless if manual o automatic yan same lang yan. pero meron din wrong driving practices na will affect the efficiency... generally fuel efficiency is based on speed and that if you stick to 70kph then you will attain the best fuel to distance (fuel efficiency) ratio. if you over speed, say above 70kph (you use up more fuel to make your car move faster - this only reduces the time it takes to travel a certain distance but increases fuel consumption) if you travel below 70kph (you slowing down, increasing the time it takes to travel a certain distance and use more fuel).

So I think it is the driving practice that matters .

Nung swerte sa abroad napilitan akong bumili ng matic para magamit ni wifey.
Convenient na kasing gamitin ang matic at tipid narin sa gas lalu na pag traffic.
