Matic anytime, anywhere.

Choose the one with paddle shifters.. Comes in handy specially pag uphill.

:lr: Manual will always be the first choice for long time drivers, specially if you know the pros and cons of the two...  :bye:

DocJenny, "driving with a stick" is a misnomer. Except for a few models of European cars with push buttons or control levers, almost all cars have a "stick shift", whether a M/T or A/T.

Almost everyone knows how to drive using a manual transmission. Anyone who learned to drive from a driving school, most probably was provided with a car with a manual transmission. Only the "conio-tique" types with rich parents with drivers probably learned driving with an A/T thru their personal drivers.

For practical  guys like me, I don't need to prove my manhood by driving a car with a manual transmission. In Metro Manila traffic, it just makes better sense to drive a car with an automatic transmission.

For one thing, i'd rather conserve my energy for more important things.

Another thing, I can be holding the hand of my date all the way, more so during traffic. Maybe use my hand for other things :-) without interruption. Try that with a M/T.

One last thing is the clutch of a car with manual transmission takes a lot of beating and wear and tear in Metro Manila traffic.

During weekends, especially driving to nearby provinces, I prefer driving one of my M/T cars.

I totally agree.. I can drive M/T but i prefer A/T. Funny I can relate to your experience about holding the hand of your date all the way..  :-[

what's this "driving with a stick" all about ba.

M.I.L.K. is an epic photographic celebration of what it is to be part of a family, share the gift of friendship and more than anything else, to be loved. Inspired by the 1950s landmark photographic exhibition "The Family of Man", M.I.L.K. began as a worldwide search to develop a collection of extraordinary and geographically diverse images portraying humanity’s "Moments of Intimacy, Laughter and Kinship" (M.I.L.K.). This search took the form of a global photographic competition in 1999.
