- The Indiana Pacers are back in the
Eastern Conference Finals after 9
years!
- Lance Stephenson was amazing in
this game from beginning to end. He
set the tone for Indiana early on
with his great play and took control
at the end as well. This was the
night of his life!
-Tyson Chandler committed his 4th
foul in the 3rd quarter with 9:05
remaining.
- At one point in the 3rd quarter,
the Pacers were winning by 10
points and Iman Shumpert, caught
fire making three 3's in a row,
followed by another 3 by J.R. Smith
which tied the game at 72. Frank
Vogel, wisely, called a timeout.
Iman, dropped a total of FOUR 3's
in the 3rd quarter.
- Carmelo Anthony had an
outstanding quarter as well with 15
points, leading the Knicks back in
the game after being down by
double-digits.
- Second chance opportunities were
hurting the Knicks, and Hibbert was
making his presence on the
offensive glass.
- Chris Copeland entered the game
in the 4th quarter and dropped two
3's to continue New York's trend.
- The Pacers did a good job cutting
the lanes and finding the open man
for easy points.
- Roy Hibbert's presence in the
paint was being felt on both ends of
the court.
- Tyson Chandler committed his 6th
foul with 3:12 left in the game. His
last two fouls were not smart ones.
- Kenyon Martin fouled out of the
game as well with 55.7 seconds left
in the game.
- Jason Kidd played 6:23 and went
scoreless for the 10th straight
game.

Hayyyy, last year NY knicks early exit at first round, honestly this playoff I'm expecting them na umabot sana sa East Finals, baka next year aabot na, pero they should trade Amare Stoudemire and some future draft picks na for Chris Paul since matagal ng gusto ni CP3 sa NY.

ESPN 2008: They are getting old this is their last hurrah.

ESPN 2009: I'm afraid there's not much time left for another good run in this team.

ESPN 2010: This is it for the Spurs. It's now or never.

ESPN 2011: They need to get
younger players, the old guys just won't be able to keep up in this years' playoffs.

ESPN 2012: They're winding down, I don't see them being able to win much at all.

The media, and ESPN, has been doubting the Spurs based solely off of their age for years. This goes to
show that with great coaching, and great fundamentals, a team can win at a VERY high level/amount no matter the age. It's amazing how
little media the Spurs get when they dominate in the playoffs year-in and
year-out. If you do not respect the Spurs organization and how they
have played for so many years, then you may need to question if your'e a true NBA fan. . .

This is very true! ESPN sucks and even commissioner Stern doesn't want the likes of San Antonio, Detroit, or Sacramento to be in finals, bakit? it's because of the NBA market share. kumbaga feeling nila mababa ang rating lague dahil maliit ang mga market ng mga ito.

Kaya minsan nagkakaron ng issues na yung tawag ng mga refs eh my influence ng NBA management, remember the Lakers vs Kings west finals, ayaw ng NBA na Kings ang pumasok dahil ang laki nga naman ng marketng LA, same thing sa Bucks vs Sixers b4 na naging MVP si Ai, mas malaki daw rating pag Lakers vs Sixers

Bo. Incredibly, Memphis didn't take
advantage of this.

yeh i agree with you , ang NBA ngayon is more of an entertainment nalang , marketing wise pag malaki kita dun sila.
kawawa naman yung mga small market teams , kahit maganda ang sistema ng team , NBA pa mismo ang magbabagsak sa kanila . . .

of 1:29. It was a six-point game
until Popovich, wisely, called a
timeout. That was the only run
Memphis had the entire game,
which shows how dominant San
Antonio was today.

- Zach Randolph had his worst game
of the Playoffs so far. He shot 1 out
of 8 and scored only two points in
28 minutes.

- This game was decided with six
minutes remaining. We had over
5:30 minutes of garbage time. I
wasn't expecting that for Game 1 of
the WCF. . .
