Over 300 Million Copies of One Piece Manga Sold



Since its debut in 1997, Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga has sold over 300 million copies to date. It has been recorded as the most sold manga ever in Shonen Jump's history, even beating out Akira Toriyama's Dragonball Z which once held the record with 152 million copies sold.

This year, the ever popular manga has sold at least over 17 million copies, especially with Vol. 71 & 72 each contributing 1.5 million copies respectively when, it was launched within the first three days.

To celebrate its success, Shueisha has launched a special ad campaign, "Sanoku ThanX" ("300 million thanks") with Japan's major newspaper publishers.

yep, really nice chapter. i really have a very strange feeling that law will join the strawhats. kaya lang it will a happen by a longshot because of his crew and his loyalty to luffy (hindi kagaya ng loyalty ng crew niya specially sina zoro and sanji) lol. so far wala pa talagang hint sa next nakama, kung magkakaron nga ba at pwede din hindi magkaron din this current arc lol. i'm excited for the next chapter dame pwedeng mangyari at events na aabangan.

Is there no one here who could commend Franky for his statement of loyalty for Luffy. Though I know he is very loyal, it is nice to hear it from one of the Strawhat members. It is a statement that recognizes Luffy that he is THE Captain of Strawhat Pirates.
