Dating Realities

“Dating” means different things to different people, particularly across generations. Here are some:

~Of a couple, to be in the early stages of a relationship where they go out on dates to find out what each other is like, as a prelude to actually being a fully fledged couple.

The modern day battlefield of romance where hearts are won and broken, the not-quite so version of chivalry and wooing, an interview for a lover; the lay down some time-and money and see if you get some candy routine; the progressed game of cat-and-mouse; the human courtship ritual; playing baseball for a home run.

~Dating is where two people who are attracted to each other spend time together to see if they also can stand to be around each other most of the time, if this is successful they develop a relationship, although sometimes a relationship develops anyways if the people can't find anybody else to date them, or are very lonely or one person is only attracted to the other and pretends to be in love with the second unfortunate person who has the misunderstanding that they have found love.

~Dating means that going out with opposite six to understand them well. Dating leads to marriage,love,friendships.

wow... dating is fun and exciting... its fun because you both get to know each other well, things she likes na hindi mo aakalain na gusto o ganun pala ang hilig nya... and exciting because every date is like an adventure for the couple... ano ang mga isusuot sa ganung okasyon or place... you feel the thrill in it... the breeding and the manners of a person is there for one to realize and discover... i've dated someone who's very intellectual, dated also someone who's into sports etc., so all these types of women i've dated have their own characteristics and i for one can really say that dating really helps a lot in knowing a person... mas masarap ang feeling nung first date because all the jitters in me are present... andyan yung saan ko ba siya dadalhin na resto, after we dine out saan ang kasunod... hahahaha... alam na ba? hmmm... mas okay para sa akin yung mag unwind muna like wasting time in a coffee shop, take some desserts or what have you... intimate dates will come as long as both have been accustomed to each other... masarap ka-date yung mga makuwento kasi listener talaga ako and contented in laughing at the sidelines...

true, a date can also be unfortunate for some, maybe they get disappointed because of failure in what they expect it to be... lumabas siguro ang ''turn-offs" hahahaha... tipong nagsasabi ata ng 'i love you' eh lumobo naman sipon sa ilong hahahaha.... o kaya nahulog ang pustiso nyahahahaha....

hehehe... if that happens to me, i will be long gone before she starts laughing...

anyway, dating for me, just like sir @jamesbond said, is the process of getting to know each other... it is in fact the prelude if ever to a more meaningful relationship for the involved parties... if all signs points positive, then expect a deeper ending... but if things doesn't turn out well, then it will all ends there...

ah yes... blue talaga ang color of choice ko... when it comes to men socializing with other men naman, true pa din yan but depende pa din sa composition ng group dapat yung closeness andun para magbitiw man ng mga insulting chides or words eh di ramdam at purely biruan... i for one, i'm contented sa sidelines na patawa tawa lang... mahirap din kasi magbiro ng basta basta at baka seryosohin at hindi masakyan eh magkasamaan pa ng loob... but here's the thing, in my own observation, kapag madaldal ang isang guy sa umpukan ng mga guys din, asahan mo walang laman ang sinasabi hahahaha.... iba pa din ang tahimik, delikado at malalim hahahahaha....

Good morning everyone hihi ang aga aga dating agad naisip ko haha anyway sis @lovemarie yon nga eh 9 talaga curfew pag may bibisita sa bahay nuon kahit weekend kasi yon lang din pedi eh ..no visitors on school days ganun parin mga parents ko sa mga kapatid ko ngayon pag aaral ang unahin ang kj ng mga magulang ko pagdating sa dating..pag matapos na ng pag aaral saka na dating ang iisipin uy erase that pagmatanda na pala hahaha..

don't worry mam @Cathrina... as a guy, i also grew up with a family just like yours... just enjoy your 9pm curfew.... they have their reasons and i know our parents mean well for us...

Siguro nga sis love ganun talaga ang magulang lalo na pag teens pa ang mga anak bawal magbf/gf tas pag lampas na ng twentys o thirtys nagtatanong kelan mag asawa kasi gusto na nila makita apo nila hayyss hahaha

Dating is a headache, I would rather be by myself and do what I wanted to do, but it does not mean it applies for everyone.
