When an Italian video journalist set out to see how young boys would react to being asked to hit a girl, he discovered something awe-inspiring.

Luca Lavarone, who works for “Fanpage,” conducted the social experiment with boys ranging from 6 to 11 years old in Italy. After having the boys introduce themselves, Lavarone brings in a young girl named Martina. He asked the boys to say what they like about her, and they  respond with a list of lovely compliments. 
 
Then Lavarone asked the boys to caress Martina. That task was completed without incident, if with a certain amount of shyness. He then asked them to make a funny face at her. They did so, with gusto.
 
But when the boys were asked to slap Martina, their reactions took a different turn. A flat-out refusal. When pressed for the reason that they wouldn’t slap her, the impressive youngsters responded with explanations that would make any parent or human being proud.  “Because you’re not supposed to hit girls,” “I don’t want to hurt her,” “Because I’m against violence.” One even added, “As the saying goes, ‘Girls shouldn’t be hit, not even with a flower.”

sixist ba? Hmnn... Some will say yes.. And others may not agree.. But however... the concept of the video is to give an emphasis to the welfare of women , violence, towards women in general be it, physical or verbal... Must not be tolerated by anyone...it is a grave violation of human rights...and it's irreversible impact and effect  ranges not only from an immediate visible results of abuse but it can create a long term mental, emotional and sixual damage... And unfortunately, some cases results to death of the poor victims...

The whole concept of the video was good, the little boys were too nice.. Yeah, i'd say... It kinda gave us the feeling of being 'sweetly pampered' ... I guess a bit too much... Sabagay cute naman dahil bagay sa mga kids yunh theme

Hmnn... Wag lang sana lumaki ang ulo ng mga babae... On equal footing na rin naman ngayon babae man or lalaki... I can say.,, kung meron emotionally, sixually and physically abused na babae... Marami din naman  abused na lalaki...

Maaring superior kayo samen because of your physical strength... But women now a days are shrewed enough to know where to hurt you big time... Talk about being subtle in our 'sharky predator ways' hehehe...

Quits lang... Actually madalas e mas cruel pa nga kami sa inyo.. Yun lang... Sabi ng human rights...violence against women MUST not be tolerated.

Very nice observation Sir.. On general point of view, at kahit naman saang sitwasyon we women are still considered as the weaker gender... it's really very cruel para patulan kaming babae and to abuse us physically...

Fair enough, I understand your viewpoint. But.. grabeee  naman yang  sample  video  mo. Wala  bang  less  violent  dyan? 

Admittedly may mga kabaro  kaming  ganyan and I can comprehend kung nawawala sa kontrol ang mga reaction ng mga lalaki. ..sobrang magsalita at sasabayan pa ba ng kamay? Who would say na wala kang right to defend yourself?

But still. .sana wag kalimutan na babae pa ren yan. ..katulad at kawangis ng Ina mo kung bakit ka nailuwal dito sa mundo. .

May mawawala ba sa pagkalalaki, nyo kung iiwas na lang kayo at magpapalipas ng galit?

indeed "respect begets respect". so, if yo don't show respect, you won't get respected as well. no, it won't make me feel any better or superior if i hit the woman back. i just want to show her that you shouldn't be doing that to anyone.  tao din kame.  just because babae ka, you can get away with that excuse for hitting someone? that's unfair to guys, who, as you see in the videos, tried patiently to keep their calm. pero sobra eh. so shit happened. everyone, both male and female, should know their limits.

kung ung lalake ang unang nanakit ng babae, ayun, pwede nating sabihin gago sya. pero kung nag retaliate sya dahil sumobra na si babae, eh, sorry sya. she deserved it.

i may say that it really is  a case to case basis.. but if you can tolerate the behavior of a lady, then i think it would be better... if you can turn your back on her and leave, then it is best... but if she still berates you or the likes even if you are already doing everything and leaving then it is to your judgement on what is best...

And that gruesome act just prove how a man can stoop that low and degrade himself with utter stupidity.

You take any woman by force and violence you only give her reasons to be more nasty. But you give her silence and ignore her completely. . .you are showing her that you are far more superior than her uncontrolled behaviour and that she's unworthy of any attention.

You need not slap a woman nor humiliate her with violence to prove that she is wrong. Any man with the right breeding and principle will simply turn his back and just walk away.

You don't have to strike her back. . You  don't  have to get even. . . a real man is far more better than behaving like a crazed woman, cursing and crashing her with your violence.

Shit happens when a man lose control and forget that he has two heads and both can be controlled if you will it so.

Ang babae hindi sinasaktan, minamahal... Hehehe, parang Robin lang. Pero kapag sumusobra na aba'y... dapat mo ng talikuran. Huwag mong sabayan ang init ng ulo niya, kase kawawa naman. I wonder why the Holy Scriptures give importance and emphasis about the welfare of women. Love her, feed her, take her to your home etc. especially sa mga widows. Dahil pala ang babae ay weaker compared to lalake. Maging ang lahat ng gobyerno (maybe) sa buong mundo ay may mga batas para sa welfare ng women(and children) kase nga mas mahihina sila pagdating sa physical at maging sa emosyonal na katayuan. Kaya nga isinali ang children dun para mabigyan diin ang tungkol sa kahinaan. Mayroon ding tinatawag na battered- wife pero walang battered husband. Ah, ewan basta ganun.
On the otherhand, mayroon din namang sinabi sa scripture na para sa welfare ng lalake, RESPECT him. Kailangan kase naming mga (tunay) na lalake ang respeto mula sa mga babae. Minsan ang babae dahil sa sobrang pagkabungangera naipapahiya na pala ang isang lalake (partner o asawa niya) at iyon ang ayaw na ayaw naming mga lalake. Huwag na huwag mong hihiyain ang lalake lalo sa harap ng barkada dahil magkakalintikan talaga

yes, the ones in the video were a bit too much. but what i am trying to say is to let a woman (like the ones in the video) be in her place. strike some sense into her. pwede sigurong pitikin ang kamay, or tenga. just to let her know na sumosobra ka na talaga. of course you only do that pag talagang sumobra na. as in you already walked away (mga isang kilometro) at hinahabol ka pa rin ng dada. hahaha!

As a kid, our parents taught us that hitting a girl is unacceptable in this society. Because girls must be loved, must be cared and must be understood..

But when i grown up, i noticed that this notion is just a plain stupidity - stupidity created by our stupid society.   

This society is creating a wrong notion that violence against men is ok and violence against women is punishable by law..

Violence in any form must not be tolerated and must be stop.   

Mas mabuti pa nga ang maga hayop, meron silang mga batas na nagpoprotekta sa kanila laban sa pang aabuso.. Pero ang mga lalaki eh wala. Ganun na ba kababa ang tingin ng society sa mga kalalakihan?
 
Is tolerance applied only for men? Men are human as well. They also deserves love and respect.

If a women deserve to be love, then a man also.. If a man deserve to be hit, then a woman also.. People must be accountable for their action whatever their genders are.

In this world we must be fair.

And before I forgot, women around the world are fighting for gender equality. That both men and women should receive equal treatment, and should not be discriminated against based on gender.

And not hitting back against your abusive gf/wife is not a good example of gender equality..

gender equality says you must fight back.............. because basically you have the same basic rights..
