I have Herniated Lumbar Disk. Need your expert opinion.

In my L4-L5, there is a broad-based central, right paracentral, and right lateral disk protrusion. Approx 4 x 18 mm in AP and traverse dimension.

Sa madaling sabi, niipit ugat ko.

Anyone here with the same situation or with expertise?

My father has the same.

Pain would be shooting down to his legs and he'd be all but debilitated during attacks.

If I remember correctly, they put a titanium brace between L4 to L6. But before that, he'd have to get pain reliever shots directly on his spine just to relieve the pain.

He's now doing pilates to strengthen the core muscles around the midsection to help the spine. It has helped him out alot.

Thanks Doc. Hope your dad's doing good. I'm not considering any surgical operation dahil hindi na ganun kasakit kumpara nung dati. Pero sana di na umabot sa Fusion like your papi. I'm also doing core exercises and stretching. I'm reading a lot about this kind of injury, maraming masaklap at magandang experience na makukuhanan ng inspirasyon.
