i dont think thats true because i deffinately loved my first love there was no way it wasnt real we were together 3 years on and off some good memories some bad but we broke up 3 years ago and now i am with someone new and love him truely and we are having a baby. i still think fondly of my first love and would help him out ever he needed it but i dont see myself that way with him anymore and i would never cheat on my now boyfreind with him even tho my first love has been trying to get back there is no getting back it isnt love anymore fondness and caring but ive moved on like people can and do with time. time heals everything. there is nothing it cant cure. it cured a brocken heart and loneleiness till i found someone knew thats loved me greater and never will i fall back for my first love so if you wanna say it dies i cant argue with that in a changing sort of way

No. I don't believe in first love never dies. Of all my past serious relationships, my feelings may have faded but I know that I still love each and every one of them and they will always have a place in my heart but not as big as the girl I'm with right now of course.

Love, in its truest simply don't die.

By relativity, the amount of love you feel for someone feels like it diminished or died down because you feel more for another.
