PULUTAN: ADOBONG MANI

Ingredients:

Mani na hilaw


Bawang


Siling Labuyo (optional)


iodized salt


vetsin


mantika


PROCEDURE:

sa isang kawali, magpainit na ng mantika (medium heat)... maupo muna at magpitpit ng bawang, damihan mo ha para masarap, kung pwede nga lang eh itodo mo na lahat ng bawang na nasa iyo... umikot at kunin ang kalahating kilong mani... Ilagay ang mani, bawang at siling labuyo  sa kawali... kumembot habang naghahalo... hintayin maluto ang bawang until golden brown... Importante dito ang paghalo ng mani habang niluluto para magpantay ang luto nyan... once naluto na ang bawang luto na din ang mani.. indicator ang bawang kung luto na ang mani... hanguin kapag luto na at i-strain para di masyadong oily kapag hinain... budburan ng asin at vetsin.. Serve mo na...

~Pita Sandwich/Salad~




2 pcs Pita bread
1 pc Carrot
2 pcs Tomatoes
150 g Lettuce
¼ cup Mayo or Mayo sandwich spread
¼ cup Mustard
1 tsp Black pepper
½ pc Onion
1 can Corned beef
1 pc Potato





Procedure:

Slice the carrots, tomatoes, potato and onion.
In a pan, sauté can corn beef, onion and sliced potato.
Toast pita bread in an oven toaster and cut into halves.
Put all the ingredients inside the pita bread.
Sprinkle some black pepper over the assembled pita
Drizzle mayo and mustard on top.
Enjoy

~Grilled Porkchop~
(Kanto Style)



Ingredients:

6 pcs Pork Chops Thin cut (1/4 in thick)

Marinade / Basting Mixture:

2 tbsp Cooking Oil
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
3 Cloves Garlic chopped
*** Notes: If this runs out when you’re basting, just add more soy sauce and oil in equal amounts.



Procedure:

1. Place all the ingredients for the marinade mixture in a bowl and mix well.
2. Coat the pork chops with the marinade mixture and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
3. Grill the pork chops on a charcoal grill for around 10 minutes or until done.  This will depend on the heat of your grill and the distance of the grate to the charcoal.  Every couple of minutes, turn the pork chops and brush with the marinade mixture so they don’t dry out.
4. Serve with rice
5. Enjoy!

Eto pang labtim natin sa Porkchop Kanto Style hehe...

~Vegetarian Tortang Talong~


Ingredients



2 pcs Eggplant
2 pcs Eggs
1 pc Onion
3 cloves Garlic
3 pcs Tomato
100 ml Cooking Oil
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 tsp Salt

Instrucitons:

1. Wash all the vegetables
2. Chop the garlic, onions and tomatoes into small pieces

3. Grill the eggplant then peel the skin off



4. Beat the eggs and set aside
5. In a frying pan, heat 2 tbsp of the cooking oil and saute the garlic, onions and tomatoes

6. Let this cool a bit and add to the beaten eggs, sesame oil and salt and mix

7. Then add the eggplant to the egg mixture


8. Heat the remaining oil in the frying pan and slide in the egg mixture into the pan
9. Cook for a minute or two on each side until done
10. Serve

~Shrimps on a stick~


Here’s another simple thing to do with shrimp.  Grill it!  Perfect for parties or small gathering with friends and family.  This recipe makes about 6 sticks.

Ingredients

 250 g Shrimp
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
Barbecue sticks




Procedure


Step 1: Peel the shells off the shrimp, leaving the tail section only.  Separate the heads and shells of the shrimp into another container.



Step 2: Skewer the the peeled shrimp onto bamboo sticks.



Step 3: Place the shells and heads in a pan over a medium fire.



Step 4: Add the butter and garlic to the pan



Step 5: Once the shells are cooked, strain the mixture and separate the shells from the heads.

 

Step 6: Add the oil to the mixture



Step 7: Mix thoroughly. This will be the mixture used for basting the shrimp.


Step 8: Prepare your grill
Cook the shrimps using the grill

Serve and Enjoy!

PULUTAN : CRISPY TENGA ng BABOY (chiririt)

INGREDIENTS:

Tenga ng baboy (uncooked)


Sliced onions


peppercorn


laurel leaves


patis


mantika


PROCEDURE:
ilagay sa isang kaldero ang tenga ng baboy (malinis na ha...), lagyan ng tubig hanggang sa matabunan na na tenga... ilagay ang paminta, sibuyas, patis, dahon ng laurel at sa pakuluan.... kapag malambot na ang tenga ng baboy, hanguin na ito at hayaang patuluin ang tubig na kasama nito... I-deep fry ang tenga sa isang maligamgam na temperatura pero half cooked lamang at saka hanguin... i-rest muna ito ng mga 20 minutes at saka i-deep fry ulit sa mantika pero sa kunukulong temperatura na... kapag golden brown na, hanguin na ito at saka i-strain sa isang diaryong luma at malinis para mabawasan ang mantikang kasama nito... Serve hot!
