Actually, he still has a final trick up his sleeve. You know, the one that is comparable to a Captain's bankai. 

Ang nakakatawa dito eh yung cliche na kapag inexplain ng kaaway yung ability nya sa kalaban, matatalo sya (like Rose). Sa case ni Renji, bingi kausap nya so ayos lang. 

Ultimate Irony: Ang power ni Mask eh based sa fan-power, at matatalo sya sa character na sa totoo lang eh pinalakas lang ni Kubo at hindi pinatay dahil sa real life fan-power.

Renji has finally unlocked the next level of power... The Plotkai: a power reserved for the greatest of shounen fan faves (like Hitsugaya, Byakuya, Kenpachi, and Ichigo) to keep them from the hands of death and to keep Kubo from the hands of angry rabid fans.

I'm really not liking the direction Kubo took. If it were for someone of captain level, like Byakuya or Kenpachi, it may not look as bad and would be more understandable.  Renji beating an opponent who beat 2 bankai-d captains with just a shikai requires a good deal of SoD.
