Barefoot driving or with shoes?

Ok, let me start a thread. Given that you drive, what makes you more comfortable? Barefoot or with shoes? Ako kasi when I go to office nakamedyas lang ako magdrive. Ramdam ko kasi yung comfortability and yung control sa pedals ng car. How about you?

I usually wear shoes. The Cefiro's pedals are responsive even with shoes.
And for me it's a hassle to remove the shoes and put them on again...

   i prefer driving with shoes....  women practices barefoot driving since they wear high heeled shoes... little did they know that barefoot driving is a no no when it comes to legal driving... bawal yan!

Oo nga bro e bawal talaga. When I wear shoes kasi nagwawala ang makina lol! Kapag tsinelas sumasabit sa clutch. Maikli pasensya ko sa road kaya minabuti ko nang alisin na lang ang sapatos at tsinelas. Pero if may inspection ang LTO or MMDA yari ako hahaha

LTO and MMDA penalizes professional drivers who are driving with slippers / flip flops. It's really dangerous because the slippers may slip off and the driver may lose control of the pedals.

driving barefoot gives the driver more feel. but it depends on the situation.

if you're wearing shoes with very thick heels. and the pedal's covered with "sticky" rubber.

I tried it once or twice, but couldn't get the hang of it. Nasanay na siguro paa ko sa bigat ng sapatos ko. Careful though, your feet might slip lalo na if you're wearing socks.

Besides I get cold easily lalo na sa paa, so yeah.

However, its a turn on for me if a chick is driving barefooted.



I like driving in soft shoes.  My wife got me these Dexter suede shoes last year and I always use these when driving.  Of course, I change into "working" shoes after I park.

Nice tip chief. Yung ganyang shoes e pwede na. Naka socks ako magdrive most of the time. As of the girls who drive with barefoot e ang masasabi ko lang ay "wow!"

Agree with you sir. Masakit talaga sa paa. Last October I drove 12 hours from Isabela to Manila na barefoot lang. Pagdating sa bahay buong katawan ko masakit lalo na yung mga talampakan ko. But that's not advisable. I should practice driving with shoes to avoid any trouble along the road in the future.
