Worth it naman to spend a high price engagement and ring package with surprises kasi if you do really love that woman hindi mo memeasure yung presyo kasi you are happy..

I had a discussion with my officemate regarding this matter. He had a gf na nasa Riyadh and they're planning to get married soon. Since taghirap din sya considering the car with monthly amortization and nadedelay pa sya maghulog minsan and the way ng lifestyle nya medyo mahihirapan syang makabili ng ganyang kamahal na engagement ring. The topic ended as like di naman mahalaga ang presyo. Nasa babae naman na yan kung mahal ka talaga o hindi. On my own opinion, mahalaga talaga ang engagement. I think that's one sweet moment na magiging memorable sa kanila so why tipirin pa. Dapat din talaga tyagain ni lalake yan. Once in a lifetime lang naman mangyayari yan.

Patay tayo dyan lol! Anyway, yun nga e minsanan lang yan. Maximize it then, kumbaga sagad sagarin na. Mababawi naman yan ng pagmamahal kung sincere kayong dalawa. Mauuwi rin sa kasalan yan. ;D

Para sa akin naman nde importante ang expensive ring kasi nde mo mamemeasure ang love mo kung bibigyan ka ng mamahaling enggagement ring or wedding ring..ok lang sa may kaya na makabili nung ganun ka mahal but practically i rather save the money lalo na ngayon na marami na ang naghihirap.

yeah! sa tingin ko din depende nga yan sa girl, whatever you think will really make her happy....which i think you should already know by that time you´re ready for something serious... as for me, the price doesn´t really matter...of course it´s something to celebrate but engagement proposal with vows would be nicer ... i´m not much into rings and stones, baka mas prefer ko pa property under my name but not because it´s more expensive, rather for security

i give this rule to those who asks about buying an engagement ring...
1. buy only that you can afford. let's face it not everyone can buy a 50k ring. but if you save 1k to 2k a month after 6mos then you can buy a decent ring.
2. don't buy using your credit card or getting a loan, learn to save and then buy, work hard for it. This will also give you ample time to really think about your decision to tie the knot.
3. you may take this advise or leave it. but i don't like the idea of buying an engagement ring from a "subasta" pawnshop. something about it is just not right, there's a history on that ring and most of the time it's painful.
i'm bad, and that is good. i will never be good and that's not bad. There's no one i'd rather be than me.

and lastly, this is very very important and often disregarded as cheesy or baduy.
 - proposing is a 1 time thing (well for most of us) so be creative ... prepare for it. since you already took an effort with the ring then complete the package with an out of this world proposal. it dosen't need to be expensive it just have to be unique. you would want this to be memorable as possible.
one thing i learned about girls, your effort is nothing compared to the rewards they can give you.

Very good piece of advice. Never use credit to pay for the ring. Your fiancée will not be pleased. Haha.

so true because it shows you didn't took the effort in buying it. baka pa humingi ka pa ng tulong pambayad sa monthly. hahaha
