anyway,,suggestion lang po,,can you do a separate thread for PBA? i've check the forum and parang wala pa yata for PBA eh,,since on going naman ang finals bet SMC and petron,,and lapit na din ang PBA trade,,so marami na ring updates ..

(NBA) Howard and Harden bring star power back to Houston

HOUSTON (AP) -- A year ago, the Houston Rockets had Jeremy Lin and not much else in terms of star power or even recognizable names on a young and inexperienced team.

Things are much different entering the 2013 season.

Houston traded for James Harden just before the start of last season and he helped the Rockets return to the playoffs for the first time since 2009. Their offseason acquisition of prized free agent Dwight Howard, combined with Harden's development, has catapulted the Rockets from an afterthought in the Western Conference to a contender quicker than most anyone expected.

(NBA) New NBA commissioner to adopt 2-2-1-1-1 format

NEW YORK – David Stern’s NBA owners gathered one last time, toasting the outgoing commissioner before he leaves after 30 years on the job.

They also changed back one of the earliest changes Stern made.

Leaving with Stern is the NBA Finals format he implemented in his first full year on the job, one that alleviated travel concerns but critics felt also gave an advantage to the lower-seeded team.

Beginning with the 2014 finals, the higher-seeded team will host Games 1, 2, 5 and 7. The lower seed gets Games 3, 4 and 6, following the same format the NBA uses in all other rounds.
