Q: CONVERTED CAR FORM RHD TO LHD

tanong lang mga katambay .. safe na ba ngaun ang mga converted cars?
eto yung mga imported cars like from japan. tpos icconvert from right hand drive to left hand drive... ok sana yung mga oto na ganito kasi mura and ok nmn magmanufacture ang mga hapon..
share nmn kau ng mga experience nyo sa mga converted cars if u have any...

The manufacturing is not an issue, the conversion is.
Depending on the quality of the conversion, the car may or may not be good.
For simple conversions like vans, etc, I think RHD converted machines are fine.
But for high performance vehicles (e.g. Nissan GT-R), RHD to LHD conversions might not be good enough to handle the forces when you push the machines to the limit.

oo nga sir napansin ko nga minsan yung handbrake is andun katabi ng passenger sit sa front.. tpos minsan din yung kambio mismo balistad.. nakakapraning lang.. haha

tama ka nga siguro sir.. kasi if it's design to be RHD it should be RHD ...
may nabalitaan din akong converted car na nabangga dahil naglock ata yung manibela habang tumatakbo sila buti n lng daw at mabagal lang ang takbo.. nako kung mabilis yun tepok na sila... nkakatakot lang but that issue was 5 years ago.. di ko alam kung ganu na kalaki ang inimproved ng mga convertion kits..

this a really good point.  if racing car bilhin mo, you have to be very very meticulous in checking stuff like that because you can't depend your life on something that you are sure of.  I personally have seen a Skyline crash into an island dahil nag loko yung some sa conversion nang connectors sa ilalim nang steering wheel, I don't know what it is called. 

If you check closely, mag hindi magandan pagka welding nang supports.  wag mo na bilhin yan.  safety mo ang nakasalalay dyan kaya better safe than sorry.  Down the road, meron din parts na medyo mahirap palitan dahil sa conversion.  Halimbawa, yung signal light switch module, medyo mahirap palitan kapag nasira at yung model nang vehicle mo is somewhat rare sa Pinas.

Although madami na ako nakita na so far so good naman, personally I would rather not. May mga nadinig nadin kasi along horror stories about converted cars gone wrong, and besides although mas cheaper siya usually, it's not for free. You're still going to have to shell out some cash, kaya in my philosophy, kuha nalang ako siguro ng mas less potential hassle in the future with a little additional cost rather than take a more potential risk.

As for experience, okay naman. I've driven this automatic van before, okay siya medyo weird lang ang panels and location of some knobs and switch pero other than that sa performance okay. My friend got it for a bargain, and ginawa niyang little project.

Anyway good luck with the decision that you will make, better magsama ka ng mechanic that is knowledgable and that you trust just for a second opinion.

sa pinsan ko meron a nakuha dati EK hatch rhd tpoz pina convert s lhd..wala naman naging problema para sa kanya..depende na lang tlga cgro sa kn panu na convert..mahrap dn kase na as is na xa iconvert p
