If you have ever felt like the stereotypical awkward guy when flirting with a woman, join the club. We have all felt that way at one time or another. I know that I can look back on some of my interactions with women and cringe when I think about some of the awful attempts that I have made. Of course, it doesn't have to stay like that forever. You don't always have to feel awkward when flirting with a woman. There are some simple and effective tips that will make you a better flirt, so that you don't feel self conscious or awkward or like you just don't know what to say and do.

Here are 3 simple flirting tips that will make you a better flirt overall:

1) It's all about getting in as much practice time as you can.

How does a basketball player become a better 3 point shooter? He hits the court day after day shooting 3's until he gets better. The same thing general rule applies here. The more women that you talk to and interact with, the better you are eventually going to be at flirting. Back in the day, I gave myself the challenge to flirt with at least one woman a day. And at first - it was kind of uncomfortable. By the time a couple of weeks was up - it was actually fun and I was a lot better than I was on day one.

2) Polish up your sense of humor.

Using laughter to make a girl feel really at ease with you is one of the best things that you can do. If you are not the natural comedic type, watch stand up comedians, see how they do it. Don't worry, you don't need to develop an "act," you just need a bit here and there. Humor is great when dealing with a woman who seems a little standoffish at first.

3) Become a physical flirt.

Don't just think of flirting as having the right thing to say or making a woman laugh along with you. You can totally use your body language to flirt with a woman and a lot of the time - this can actually escalate things faster than you would be able to if you were just making conversation. Physically flirting with a woman well is something that most guys DON'T do, so this will become one of those things that really makes you stand out to any woman that you meet.
