The term, “calorie creep” is often used to define calories that are consumed mindlessly. These calories often come in the form of little extras that are added to the meal without considering how they may add up at the end of the day. Condiments, beverages, sugar and more can all add unneeded calories to the daily diet, with the end result typically being weight gain.

Calorie counting is not considered to be a fun activity by most. However, it may be necessary to count calories for a period of time in order to avoid calorie creep. By being held accountable for each calorie consumed, it becomes much easier to see where extra calories are coming from. Subsequently, counting will make it easier to see foods that can be easily eliminated from the diet without much sacrifice.

Keeping a food journal is another effective way to avoid calorie creep. This will only work if each and every food is written down. For example, if butter is added to vegetables it needs to be accounted for. It is often the little extras that result in calorie creep becoming a problem. A food journal should also include any calories that come from beverages. Many diet experts now advise those who wish to maintain their weight not to drink their calories.

Awareness is the key to avoiding calorie creep weight gain. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways. What is most important is that when extras are added, they be factored into the total amount of calories eaten each day. Those who do this will never need to fear the scale moving in the wrong direction as a result of calorie creep.

Success seems to be connected with action.

nice article sir dere'k.... hindi talaga masaya ang pagbibilang ng calorie but being aware sa mga kinakain is better than just eating it... especially kapag may lahi ng mataas ang dugo or something that prohibits consumption of food with a lot of calories....helps us to live longer....hehehe... +karma sa'yo sir....

Healthy meal. Low carbs.. less fatty foods.. eto yun mga dapat kainin para less calorie..

The rest yan article is the best option..
