Origin of Anime

     History

At the start of the 20th century, Japanese filmmakers started to explore the techniques of animation from different parts of the country.

At this time, animation became a way of storytelling.Because Japanese actors were not really famous in western countries, the idea of creating their own characters came to mind, and thus anime was born.

Anime allowed any type of character to be at any type of place. It is a fantasy world where anything is possible. The Japanese artists were able to create anything they wish and use their imagination to guide their story. One main film that influenced Japanese animators was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. One Japanese artist, Osamu Tezuka, learned techniques used in the American film and then simplified them to make them cost effective. This allowed him to create animations on a tight budget. And this became the start of anime as more and more Japanese animators adapted and revised different techniques of animation.

The creation of anime has a lot to do with manga, or Japanese comic . . .

     Manga

During the 1970’s, manga became well known throughout Japan. Animators like Osamu T “legends” because of their work. Manga are drawn by these animators and many of thes urned into animation. Many times though, the storyline in the manga and the anime cha storyline stays the same. Many viewers have problems with that because the animation ff of storyline just to meet its weekly release. These releases would then be called “filler just there to fill in the space. Many times, it would have little to do with the actual storyli nime would make up its own story in hopes that the viewers would enjoy it more. A big t anime was robots. Tezuka was one of the few who helped develop such a concept, and into the more famous anime like Gundam. Later in the years, anime became famous thr nd its production went up. When anime’s production went up, so did manga because m was based on manga. Anime soon became well accepted in the market.

Mga Japanese din nagpauso na iba yung X-sheet and timing ng animation, kasi nung world war 2 konti lang resources nila sa papel so kailangan nila magtipid at gawing konti yung in-betweens.
