Mount Samat National Shrine or Dambana ng Kagitingan (Shrine of Valour) is a historical shrine located near the summit of Mount Samat in the town of Pilár, Province of Bataan, in the Republic of the Philippines. The memorial shrine complex was built to honor and remember the gallantry of Filipino and American soldiers who fought during World War II.
Consisting of a Colonnade and the large Memorial Cross, the park was commissioned in 1966 by then-President Ferdinand Marcos, himself a War Veteran, for the 25th Anniversary of WW2.[1] The white Memorial Cross stands as a remembrance to the soldiers who fought and lost their lives in the Battle of Bataan. The shrine complex also includes a war museum with a wide array of collections from paintings of the Philippine heroes, to armaments used by the Filipino, American and Japanese forces during the battle.
From the colonnade and the cross, there is a panoramic view of Bataan, Corregidor Island and on a clear day, the city of Manila situated about 50 km (31 mi) across Manila Bay.

hindi bro, pampanga ako, pero lapit lang sa bataan... lubao ako bro... kaya malapit lang, madalas napasyal ako jan lalo na kapag may problema, jan lang ako mag hapon gamit yung motor ko... sarap umakyat jan ng naka motor ka eh,mfeel mo yung view

Oo ms Rai magandang puntahan ito, especially kung aakyat ka sa loob ng malaking krus....you can almost see the entire bataan province if walang ulap.... maganda ring maghike dito para mas may adventure.....if you dont want to walk, i suggest bring a vehicle or don't come there during weekends.... i already voted you on the PT idol....thanks sa pagbisita dito

hindi bro, pampanga ako, pero lapit lang sa bataan... lubao ako bro... kaya malapit lang, madalas napasyal ako jan lalo na kapag may problema, jan lang ako mag hapon gamit yung motor ko... sarap umakyat jan ng naka motor ka eh,mfeel mo yung view

ah taga-lubao ka pala kaya malapit lang....sa bataan kasi ako lumaki sa limay.....

Nakapunta na ako diyan pero di ako nakaakyat sa krus, haba pila sa elevator eh tapos magsasara na din kasi hapon na, pero nagandahan pa din ako sa view, hehe.
Try niyo din akyatin yung mga katabing bundok niyan like mt. Tarak and mt. Natib, naakyat ko na din, sobrang ganda pag natyempuhan mo sea of clouds sa mt. tarak, falls naman yung pang akit ng mt. natib.
