I heard there is this Buddha there that grants wishes. Madami napunta sa kaniya (so I've heard). You might want to look that up if that sort of thing interests you.

sakay kayo ng chao praya river ferry bro dulo sa dulo dami nyo makikita duon along the way. tapos kuha kayo ng mapa ng ferry marami itong stops pwede kayo bumaba at magikot ikot around the vicinity. ganto ginawa namin dati saka nanguha kami ng 1 day unlimited pass. para ka lang nasa pasig river mas maganda nga lang ang dinadaanan di tulad dit puro skwater. so yung mga stops nya isipin mo parang stop sa binondo, malacanang area, rockwell, guadalupe, etc. at kapag bumaba ka sa mga stops at umikot sa paligid, para ka na rin nakapasyal sa binondo, guadalupe etc ng nakabangka lang

May nabasa ko before about backpackers touring Thailand na rumerenta sila ng scooter and that's what they use to go around. Fun and exciting yun lalo kung nag iisa ka lang naman.
