300: rise of an Empire

300: Rise of an Empire is an upcoming 2014 American action film directed by Noam Murro.

It is a follow-up to the 2006 film 300, taking place before, during, and

after the events of that film. The cast includes Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green,

Rodrigo Santoro (reprising his role from the first film), Callan Mulvey, David Wenham,

Hans Matheson, Jack O'Connell, and Lena Headey. It is scheduled to be released in 3D

and IMAX 3D on March 7, 2014. The composer for the film is Junkie XL.

The film centers on Themistocles and Artemisia I of Caria, as well as Xerxes I of Persia.

It originally went under the working title of Battle of Artemisium

(widely mis-reported as "Battle of Artemisia"). The Battle of Artemisium was a naval engagement,

concurrent with the battle at Thermopylae, and was fought between an alliance of Greek city-states

and the Persian Empire in September 480 BC, in the straits between the mainland

and the northern tip of the island of Euboea (modern Evvia). The film will probably also focus,

in part, on the Battle of Salamis, in which Artemisia played a major role,

as well as possibly the Battle of Marathon. Salamis was fought once the Persian Empire

had advanced into southern Greece and occupied Athens.

The film will also cover some of the backstory of Xerxes,

and will explain how he became "the God King"

Oh cool. But honestly people cheering the Spartans against the Persians are beyond me. The Spartans are first rate @ssholes, and compared to Xerxes eh mas maganda na siya ang mag take over.

The Spartans used to throw away live babies on cliffs or leave them on the street if they feel like the child is weak or has imperfections.

It was a dog eat dog world out there. Nagkataon lang Persia was the top dog at the time. Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Egyptians, Greeks, Romans so on and so forth. Kanya kanya lang panahon yan.

When the Spartans got slaughtered. The f*cks I give? = zero.

Pero will watch this sequel. I like violent movies.

ang angas ng trailer nila..=D hehe kulet lang kase from red cape ng original na 300,uhm naging color blue..haha nxt is yellow or white,flag na ng pinas..hahaha
