Response: It is entirely (100%) possible, as long as the object (in this case Ms. Rai) accepts the offerings wholeheartedly. There is, however, a personal element to having something tangible (e.g. flowers and chocolates) which cannot be replicated with poems and songs.

Observation: Mr. Derek, seems to be interested in situations like this.
Conjecture: Mr. Derek is also interested in someone and is using Mr. Calderon as a guinea pig to collect more data.

There are numerous solutions to this dilemma. I will list but some of the most obvious:
1. A road trip from the current location of Mr. Calderon to Ms. Rai takes less than 1 day. This is below the spoiling time of both chocolates and flowers, even if he was to buy before taking the trip.
2. Alternatively, he could purchase both along the way, giving him more time before either or both of the items spoil.
3. There are one-day guarantees among local courier services such as LBC and Air21. The price is a bit steep, but this does not seem to be an issue with Mr. Calderon.
