Wow! So I'm finally in the hot seat.
Initializing...

Response 1: I've been here since 03/19 of this year. I was a member of the old board since 11/02 of last year.

Response 2: Yes, initially I joined this forum to read some stories and other stuff. But then the discussions sounded interesting to me, so I stopped lurking and started participating.

Response 3: I usually browse and reply to the forums during my spare time. At work that means coffee breaks, lunch break, or whenever I have no tasks to do (or nothing to follow up on). At home, I have my forum time after my wife and baby sleep (e.g. in between DotA sessions).  I believe that "sleep is overrated", so I only sleep 6 hours max per day.

Hope I was able to answer your queries satisfactorily. Have a good day.

Oh, look who's on the Hot Seat. Amigo, I will give you some "situations". Let me see how you handle them.

Situation 1:
You are about to cross the street, then you saw a sixy woman on a hurry due to the time and didn't notice a truck (probably a huge truck like a 3 story building) running at 200kph coming. You would like to stop her but you could not move due to a gum stuck under your shoes. What will you do to save the sixy woman?

Situation 2:
You promise a hug to someone when you meet her. One Sunday, you went out with your wife and kid for the family day. You saw that someone at the mall and the chance of meeting her is once in a lifetime. What would you do to fulfill your promise?

That's the first 2 situations. The ones I missed to ask sniffer and imoy will be asked to you instead.

That's the first 2 situations. The ones I missed to ask sniffer and imoy will be asked to you instead.

Processing complete.
Response 1: A truck that large can be seen from far away. I will probably have over a minute to react, even at 200kph. That is long enough for me to warn her or push her out of the way.
The gum problem is trivial - it will just impede my movement, it doesn't stick hard enough to stop me from moving. In case it is as strong as cyanoacrylate adhesive (i.e. I cannot move) I will simply remove my stuck shoe and walk/run barefoot (or on my socks).

Response 2: It depends on the situation. There is an 80% probability that I can just make up an excuse (e.g. going to the CR for a quick pee), meet and hug the girl, say good bye, and go back to my wife and child. In the event of the 20% happening, I will simply tell my wife the truth and risk her ire...

Hope I have satisfactorily answered your queries.

Regards,
zz

Thank you sir Imoy.
Regarding your queries:

Response 1 - ZZ (Double Zeta) Gundam is the titular robot ("mobile suit") from the anime Gundam ZZ. I believe it is one of the best Gundam series, along with Unicorn and Char's Counterattack.

Response 2 - Only one, a little boy aged 2 months and 3 days.

Response 3 - I'm some sort of a hybrid engineer/manager/programmer. I work in a computer security company. :)

You're welcome, and I hope I have answered your questions adequately.

Hi Doctora!

As expected of a professional, this is a tough group of questions, admittedly.

Response 1a:
ZZ is a server interface system that is a triumph of engineering. His (its) objective is synergistically combining hardware and software for optimal performance, supported by advanced fiber networking.
No, seriously, response 1b:
ZZ has a knack for inferring which can sometimes be offending. But ZZ is also good at unveiling the good and bad of people through a process of mentoring...

Response 2:
I try my best first to get the message across without direct confrontation. If that does not work, or I calculate it to take too much time and effort, I will have no choice but to tell him directly what I want to say.

Response 3:
It depends. I can bake a nice cake for her, but if she wants a meal (not dessert) I'll cook my specialty, Kyoto-style sukiyaki...

Response 4:
Color(s) - Black and white.
Song(s) -  Modern: Bonnie Bailey - Ever After, Eagles - Hotel California, Ghost Town DJ's - My Boo
Classical: Pachelbel's Canon, Beethoven's Ninth (especially the Karajan recording) and Handel's Messiah
Dance - I don't know how to dance, so N/A.
Food - Pork BBQ, Steak (beef sirloin or tenderloin, medium well)
Clothes - my usual getup of a short sleeved polo and jeans.

Response 5: I tend to remove embarrassing memories from my systems, so I can't remember.

Hope I answered your queries satisfactorily.
Cheers,
ZZ

Ok as I promised, here's my next set of situational stuff:

Situaltional 3:

A customer is trying to put things personally over the phone and threatened you. Since this customer is a Korean one, he also threaten the Philippines that they will attack if his request was not granted perhaps something like a feature request. How would you deal with this person not knowing that he's just jose calderon using some device to change his voice and language? ???

Sir jose,

Response: Unless the call is from NORTH Korea (not South), there is a 99.99% chance of the customer bluffing. In that case I will analyze if the feature request is doable immediately. If it is, I will do it for him out of good faith. If not, I will tell him that he needs to wait for a while, as is the standard process.
If the call is from NORTH Korea, I cannot do anything but finish the feature request immediately. Hard to reason with insane dictators.

Hope this answers your question.
