instead of buying, why cant we send our ship builder experts to train abroad then have it made in our country? That is for the long term. For the short term, purchase is right but dapat hindi second hand.

BTW it depends sa pangulo ng bansa ang budgeting ng modernization.

As you can see, PNoy increased the budget on the modernization kaya nagspeedup. Kay GMA, Erap at Cory hindi nila priority ang modernization. That is why sa term nila may coup at coup attempts.

During ramos time, have you heard any rebels? He improved our intelligence gathering and special operations ng afp. He is one of the founders of the country's special forces.

If you like a modern army, vote people that came from the military or has been a pro military politician.

Agree ako kay boss spade na we need bigger ship, archipelago kasi tayo so dapat malakas ang airforce and navy natin kung ayaw natin mabully at mag-karoon ng credible defense against any threat.
