RoS' win over Barako earlier formalized Brgy. Ginebra's 20th straight conf playoff appearance, the longest active streak among the teams. Even if Ginebra loses its last 5 games in the elims it will still advance to QF. But of course Kings are aiming for twice to beat adv in QF. Brgy. Ginebra's playoff streak is the longest by any team since San Miguel Beer's 24 from the 1996 Govs Cup up to the 2005 Fiesta Conf. Curiously that 2005 Fiesta Conf was the last time Barangay Ginebra failed to advance past the elimination round. . .
