::)Jollibee a hit with renowned food critic Anthony Bourdain

A recently-launched food and travel show by CNN featured the iconic fast-food chain Jollibee, highlighting some dishes which appeared to be 'parts unknown' to Filipinos.

Jollibee, the largest fast food chain in the Philippines operating in over 750 stores nationwide including USA, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Brunei, reached the taste buds of world-renowned chef and food critic Anthony Bourdain who currently hosts Parts Unknown, a food and travel show recently launched by CNN.

The series, which debuted on April 14, is part of a plan by the cable news network to boost its ratings and viewership in an attempt to revamp its original programming during the weekend.

Filipino food is not new to Bourdain, who did an entire episode on the Philippine culture for Anthony Bourdain No Reservations, his previous show where he visited Chinatown and ate lechon. The second episode of his current show is about the Koreatown in Las Vegas, where Bourdain and his guides, encountered Jollibee.

Halo-halo, which Bourdain first encountered in his visit to the Jollibee branch, took his fancy, saying that mix of red and white beans, chick peas, cube shaped jell-o, coconut, shaved ice and flan “makes no sense at all.”.He said that the dessert was “oddly beautiful” and later posted a photo of it in his Twitter account.

Bourdain, with LA food truck king Roy Choi, also tried out the “tasty” Aloha Burger and the Little Big Bite, a fried spam slider, which many Filipinos are unfamiliar with. The dishes, however, are not available in the Philippines.

I think Anthony Bourdain also rated before that Cebu's Lechon is the best pig ever...

I think Anthony Bourdain also rated before that Cebu's Lechon is the best pig ever...

that is true he went to cebu tasted some foods and for the main event is the Lechon

which he enjoyed the most

That's correct and when Jollibee open a branch in Singapore, some told that its one of the best chicken in Singapore. Even some singaporean tried to boycott the Jollibee but they are not succesful.
