one thing is for sure...usually gasoline ay pang kotse...while for SUVs like Innova, uses diesel...
if you are a beginner, you'll know the difference, kasi mas maselan magdrive ng mga gasoline cars kasi you need to put gas with the right press on the clutch...
:( :( :(

Maintenance-wise, mas mura pag gas with MT.
-
Thanks for your reply bro aga. How about engine power, same lang ba?
-
Diesels generally get more torque. This is great for pulling or hauling things.
Gasoline engines usually get more horsepower at high revolutions. This is great for speed.

Thanks bro uyot and zzgundam. Its like, kung priority mo ang climbing power then you will go for diesel.

If nagkataon lang na diesel ang Expedition nako napaka ganda, pero it's gas variant only as far as I know.
Mas mahal din ang diesel variant na unit more often than not.
Gas naman; Pros usually Smoother, mas madali imaintain kadalasan and mas tahimik makina.
Hope this helps man. Good luck on your decision.

Parehong.maganda, diesel engine mura ang krudo nasa 43 per liter pero pms/change oil every 5k kilometer, gasoline engine mahal gas 55/liter pero ang pms/changeoil every 10k kilometer
-
-
kung daily driver, i would prefer gasoline engines. mas madali i-maintain.
-
In the long run cheaper to maintain and own a gas feed engine.
-
Mahal ang PMS ng diesel, every 5k kms. 8 liters per PMS. Regular PMS sa casa would cost you around 8k petot. 40k kms PMS costs around 15k petot.
A 30km daily drive would account to a PMS every three months, give or take.

Re: Euro 4 fuels - Unioil has Euro4, Seaoil used to carry Euro5 fuels kaya lang Euro3 na ngayon with STP additives which they claim ia comparable to Euro5.
Gamit ko dati Shell V-Power, kaso madumi pa rin even with their additives.
Then I switched to Unioil mas maganda takbo ng makina, though I feel underpowered compared to V-power ng shell. And mahirap ang locations ng stations nila (unlike shell).
Currently I'm using Seaoil's Diesel Exceed. Mas maganda Fuel Consumption ko and Power. At hindi kasing hirap humanap ng filling stations like Unioil, because there is one just beside our village's main gate.

-
may nakita akong comparison:

but somehow, the environmental effect of the diesel wasn't emphasized..

But I doubt kung kaya nila yung - 30 degrees. You're right. Siguradong hard starting nga.

Diesel for me is much better, (Isuzu user here) its just based on my experiences, since i also drive my moms car (gasoline) magastos hehehe...
-
I had the opportunity to drive around yung bagong audi Q5 TDi for 3 days.

Strange, never had any issues climbing mountains (as long as there's no off-road involved) with my gasoline car. My other car (also gasoline) does have problems climbing though (but it's underpowered relative to the size, so no surprises there).
Anyway, gasoline still gives smoother response across the rpm range.
-
If you want power in pulling or climbing get the diesel, if you want speed and acceleration get the gasoline..
-
amen bossing. nahuli mo hehe .. .. .. .. ..
-
maintenance wise gasoline vehicles are easier and cheaper than diesel engines... in terms of ruggedness, diesel has the advantage....
-
