Arthritis, which means inflammation in a joint, affects millions of Americans. A joint can be any space articulating between two bones, so it's possible to have arthritis in any area of the body. Most commonly, people experience arthritis in their hands, feet and elbows.

Chiropractic can drastically improve the function of the joints and the symptoms associated with arthritis, because joint function and the body's nervous system are intrinsically linked. Traditionally, arthritis is treated with medications to reduce inflammation and swelling in the joints. But chronic inflammation in these areas is often due to causes that are largely preventable or treatable. In fact, for many years, the mainstream recommendation for chronic arthritic pain was to rest and relax the joints. We now know that keeping the joints movable and imbibed with nutrient blood flow are the best way to keep joints healthy.

Chiropractic care aims to keep the joints of the body mobile, and to alleviate any stress of function on the body's nervous system, which supplies nerve flow, mechano-reception and pain receptors to all areas of the body. By releasing any stresses to the nervous system on these areas, the body can properly adapt to reduce areas of chronic inflammation, which can aggravate joint capsules. Corrective care not only restores proper nerve flow from your central nervous system (brain) to all the functioning organs in your body, it also addresses the underlying cause of impaired flow via improving structure and posture. And, as the body is aligned, it is able to move more freely.

The nerves that sit inside of the spinal chord carry energy from the brain to every cell, tissue, and vital organ in the body. Ensuring that they have full function is important in any condition.

When choosing a chiropractor to treat or help with symptoms of arthritis, be sure to find one that specializes in corrective care. As mentioned before, this type of care focuses on segmental motion of the spine as well as the global structure. In this way, one can achieve longer lasting results. Of course during the spinal rehabilitation program, one can expect to be doing home exercises. The home exercises by themselves will increase mobility, reduce stiffness, and help with pain and discomfort.

Reducing inflammation, increased motion in the joints through very specific adjustments, as well as some changes in diet and lifestyle, one can manage arthritic symptoms a lot better and as a result live a healthier and more active life.

honestly, para namang hindi, for me lang parang the more you put stresses sa joint the more lang naa-aggravate ang arthritis. at saka once it´s there then it´s there...as far as i know wala pa talagang cure for it, there´s just medications to temporarily relieve pain or other symptoms. just saying
