Warts? Try Duct Tape

Most people have had at least one wart during their lifetime. These ugly little bumps often found on the hands are actually benign tumors caused by a virus. Warts are not generally harmful and they are only contagious by direct contact but they certainly are not attractive.

The most common treatments are non-prescription commercial preparations found in drug stores, applying salicylic acid to the warts, or visiting the doctor to have him or her freeze the wart with liquid nitrogen. What can be frustrating to people prone to warts is that no wart treatment works well consistently. Freezing warts off is also painful.

Surprisingly, putting a simple piece of duct tape over the wart seems to work just as well as other remedies. Since duct tape is found in most homes already, it’s a handy,  inexpensive treatment method that cannot do any harm. You wear the duct tape over  the wart for 6 days and leave it off for a day. Repeat this for one or two months as needed. Thankfully, duct tape now comes in many colors and patterns so there’s no need to walk around wearing silver duct tape.

Naturally, you should not use duct tape to treat genital warts.

pwede sigurong su part lang na may wart ang lalagyang ng duct tape
tapos patungan ng band aid para hindi halata..

Wow..naalala ko nung grade skol pa ako may warts ako sa kamay at inooperahan ko haha parang niluto ko muna gamit ko yong tears ng candle pinatulo ko don sobrang init cya den i clipped it small piece at a time using nail clippers nagalit mom ko kasi nakita nya na dumudugo na kamay ko..pero i just wiped the blood off and put bitadine den i wrapped it with piece of clothe..after couple of days nagka scab cya hehe kahit ano kasi naisip nung bata pa..

I've tried it. didnt work on me. what worked was duofilm, then covered with duct tape. left it on for a couple of days. when i pulled off the duct tape, sumama na ang scab ng wart. warning, mahapdi sya.

with genital warts, dont try duct tape or duofilm!!! see a doctor. PM me if you need one. I can refer to mine.
