Yes, efficiency, win shares, PER, pati na rin sa streak. Head-to-head match-ups dn po nina Lebron at Durant. Monitored ko po ang nba almost daily. If you are only a casual fan and only watch your own team play then hndi mo mkikita ang discrepancy or gap ng performance ni Lebron vs the field.

If you think anyone has a shot on the MVP besides Labron, then you are only a casual fan.

I challenge anyone here to a bet, na si Lebron ang MVP vs the field. Just name the terms. Pag si Lebron ang MVP I win, pag anyone other than Lebron you win.

I wouldn't even mention Carmelo para sa MVP kasi masyadong malayo ang record ng Knicks sa Heat. Very inconsistent, no defense and poor efficiency. Though, I have to commend Durant ksi sobrang nag improve sya this season with regards to overall play (assists, rebounds, efficiency), his performance is dwarfed by what Lebron has accomplished this regular season.

Good point. Its just Lebron against Durant for MVP. Inefficient kasi si melo, and his defense is questionable. Too close too call, but its not sealed for lebron. Remember, may media votes. May players vote at coaches votes rin. Tignan na lang natin sir :)

Sorry Sir Rage, last year was a little bit closer but Lebron still won. This year, consistency ang lamang ni Lebron. I still stand by my point na sealed na po and award. And ang suspense n lng is if he will be voted unanimously.

So wanna bet Sir Rage? To start, Php 5,000.00? Any takers?!! It's Lebron for MVP for me, the field is yours (Melo, Durant, etc.).

Another thing of note, dun sa mga nagsasabing pag wla si Lebron eh mkakarating parin sa ECF or Finals ang Heat. Did you know that Lebron is the Heat's leading scorer, rebounder, and passer? Plus no question on his defense, he finished second to Marc Gasol in the DPoY award. Durant is helped by the rebounds of his big men Perkins and Ibaka, the assists and playmaking of Westbrook and the shot blocking of Ibaka. Melo is assisted by Kidd's leadership and Felton's drives, Chandlers' defense and inside presence. Lebron plugs too many holes in the Heat's rotation, I don't think any player can do what he is doing in his team. He couldn't count on Chalmers and Cole for playmaking, Bosh for rebounding so he just does it himself. Wade has been injury prone too. He is efficiency personified, 57% in fg, 40% in 3 pt fg...and he made himself a low post threat (I'd say his best asset since no one can guard him in the post...against smaller defender he shoots over them, against bigger defender he drives by them.)

tama ka sir KD has really improved this season on his passing, rebounding and overall plays pero hindi pa rin niya mapapantayan ang stats ni LBJ si Melo naman after lang ng all star break lang nag increase ang numbers niya in terms of scoring sa assist at rebounds kulelat pati na rin field goal % niya ang baba

Another case for Lebron against Durant for MVP.

Without Wade, Lebron relishes the increased touches. Without Westbrook, Durant can't play point forward like Lebron can.

Lebron "King" James named 2012-2013 Kia Most Valuable Player.

This is his 4th MVP 3rd in NBA History together with Legend Wilt ... one more MVP to tie MJ who had 5 MVP.

It's official, Lebron James is your Kia's Most Valuable Player of the 2012-2013 season. If the Heat forward deserves it, is the budding question on this topic.

The six foot eight Heat small-forward is the first player since Steve Nash in the 2005-2006 NBA season to win the MVP award and not have one forty point game during their respective seasons. Lebron had mind blowing numbers including almost twenty-seven points, about seven and a half assists, and eight rebounds per game.

Most people (or James haters) have responded to his MVP award with the fact that if you take Lebron and Carmelo Anthony away from their respective teams, The Knicks would be much more problematic than the Heat's star-studded lineup.

Michael Jordan, who people consider the best player in the history of the NBA, had four of his five MVPs with Hall Of Famer Scottie Pippen on his team. When Jordan retired his first time, we see how Pippen was averaging twenty-two points, almost nine rebounds, five and a half assists, three steals, and almost a block a game, while shooting forty-nine percent from the field. The Bulls won fifty-five games that season, without Jordan. It was pretty much proven he was not that valuable to his team in the sense that without him they wouldn't be good, but he still won four MVPs with pippin on his team. The reasoning for this is that it doesn't matter what your team would do without you, its about who is straight up the best, makes there teamates look the best, and makes the team look the best.

Carmelo Anthony is a great player, but he really isn't much of anything but a scorer. Lebron is the most all around, versatile player in the NBA and managed too lead the Heat too a whopping twenty-seven game win streak, and first in the Eastern Conference.

Lebron deserves the award, and if he keeps this up he undoubtedly will break the record for most MVPs by a player in their career.
