sinubukan kong lagyan ng battery, works fine. kaso syempre wala lang signal. talagang matitibay yung mga gamit noon. pwede ko nalang syang gamiting alarm clock hehe.

Hehehe I think I had all of that, except for the DVD player. I had one those ridiculous VHS car tape rewinder, add to the list 2 pagers, 4 family computers, a game gear, game shark / action replay for the ps1, Super Nintendo, Asder (keyboard type family computer clone I think), Magic diary, digimon, a US robotics 56k modem, a big karaoke, 8-track player, an old Palm pilot and various collections of Lego's and roler blades and a skate board.

Damn, I was a spoiled brat...

The 90's is awesome. It's funny, at the time I thought I was living the crappiest era, pero in hindsight, it was one of best pala along with my limited memory of the 80's.

Gadgets are here to make life a little bit more convenient pero not enough to completely take over our lives. There is still simplicity and excitement. A wow factor to almost any new stuff they come up with.

I remember those new fangled PLDT pay phones that accepts call cards, man was I excited to try one of those out. It is a simple thing, pero it was new (to our country at least). I also remember waiting for a long distance call and the family gathering around the phone. PX goods, duty free and various imported chocolates were all the rage. Now, you can find all that in almost every mall, so the sense of appreciation was surely diminished. We played doom, duke nukem etc and the Internet though working quite nicely is in its infancy and not common at all. These are simple things, but for a 90's kid, this was all very exciting. Well to me and my friends at least.

The 90's is a wonderful time. I didn't care much for the music like vanilla ice or the like but I do remember, sadly, that we had a back street boys number at school... Omg I'll never do that again...

Here's more...

13 Gadgets You May Have Forgotten From The 90s

WikiMedia:

Talkboy Recorder

What was it? A cassette voice recorder and player made by Tiger electronics. Who had one? Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) in Home Alone 2. Why have I forgotten about it? Everything it did can now be done by something the size of a pinhead. And it looks disgusting.

Sega Lock-On

What was it? A laser-tag game with a headset that made you look like a cyborg. Who had one? Only the cool kids in the know. Why have I forgotten about it? You graduated to paintball. Or went to Iraq.

WikiMedia:

Sony Mini-disc

What was it? The future of music. Who had one? Only people whose personal music players packed in the approximately two-day gap between CD walkmans and MP3 players. Why have I forgotten about it? Two days wasn't long to get acquainted.

WikiMedia:

Nintendo Power Glove

What was it? A totally impractical controller for the NES. Who had one? This dude. Why have I forgotten about it? It made you look like this dude.

Flickr:Howdy, I'm H. Michael Karshis

Palm Pilot

What was it? A personal hand-held computer-organiser type thing. Who had one? People in suits. Why have I forgotten about it? Because Apple happened.

WikiMedia:

IMac G3

What was it? A desktop computer in a range of 'funky' colours. Who had one? Cool people. Why have I forgotten about it? Even cool people realise funkiness is no match for processing power.

Gameboy Super Zoom

What was it? A detachable magnifying glass for you Gameboy that made the screen ever so slightly bigger. Who had one? People who hadn't realised they didn't need one. Why have I forgotten about it? It was utterly useless.

Bop It

What was it? Possibly the most irritating game developed both for those who played it and those unfortunate to be in the vicinity. Who had one? Idiots Why have I forgotten about it? You were better than this...

Flickr:US Embassy Sweden

TV-VHS Combo

What was it? Erm... a TV-VHS Combo Who had one? Popular with Grannies Why have I forgotten about it? You were swept along in the digital revolution along with everyone but your Gran.

Tiger Handheld Games

What was it? A series of portable games with graphics that mostly consisted of the same shape moving around the screen to one of eight or nine different positions. Who had one? Spoilt kids. Why have I forgotten about them? Graphics evolved quickly in the 90s...

WikiMedia:

Nokia 3310

What was it? A revolution in smart mobile phone design. Who had one? Pretty much everyone. Why have I forgotten about it? Because Apple happened. Again.

Flickr:Brett Jordan

Sony Aibo

What was it? A rubbish robotic dog. Who had one? People without a real dog. Why have I forgotten about it? It was completely rubbish.

WikiMedia:

VHS tape rewinder

What was it? Rewound your tapes back quickly so you wouldn't piss of the people at Ritz video. Who had one? People who didn't realise the VHS player did the same thing. Why have I forgotten about it? Digital dude.
