Hi there frenzy! Here are 2 recipes i cook using balut..
~Adobong Balut~

12 pcs boiled and shelled balut
1/2 head of garlic
1 onion chopped
3 pc laurel leaves
1/2 tsp whole black pepper
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup water
Oil
Salt and sugar to taste
*heat oil in a pan
*saute garlic and onion
*add the balut with its liquid
*add vinegar, soy sauce, water, laurel leaves and peppercorn, cook for 5mins.
*season with salt and sugar to taste.
~Kalderetang Balut~

12 pcs Balut, boiled and shelled
1/2 head garlic minced
1 onion chopped
1 cup tomato sauce
1 small can liver spread
1 med bellpepper cubed
1 med size potato cubed
1 med size carrot cubed
1/4 cup soy sauce
Oil
3 pcs labuyo sliced
Salt and sugar to taste
*heat oil in a pan. Fry potato & carrots. Set aside.
*Saute garlic and onion.
*add balut and its liquid.
*add bellpepper. Cook for about 3mins.
*add tomato sauce, liver spread and soy sauce. Simmer for 5mins.
*add fried potatoes, carrots and sili labuyo. Simmer for a minute.
*season with salt and sugar to taste.
