I'll start this with the dish we all have our version of... the "walang kamatayang ADOBO"

From the leftover of our adobo may it be chicken, pork or combination of both we can whip up new dishes that we can enjoy...


~Garlic Pasta with Adobo Flakes~

serves 2
prep time 10mins
cooking time 25mins

1/4 cup olive oil

5 cloves garlic minced

200gms spaghetti cooked according to package directions

salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup adobo flakes

garlic flakes, thinly sliced

basil leave and red pepper flakes for garnish

bread sticks to serve


1. In a pan heat olive oil. Saute garlic until brown and fragrant.

2. Toss in cooked pasta. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Divide pasta among bowls. sprinkle adobo flakes on top. Garnish with garlic flakes, basil leaves and red pepper flakes.  serve with bread sticks if desired.



~Adobo Flakes Benedict~

Leftover pork adobo works for this too!

serves 2
prep time 12 mins

1 cup chicken adobo flakes

2 eggs

water

1 tablespoon vinegar

2 slices wheat bread

100 gms kesong puti or quickmelt cheese


1. In a saute pan, heat cooking oil over moderate heat. Cut the remaining garlic into slivers. Cook in the oil and right before the garlic turns brown, add the shredded chicken or pork adobo and cook until crispy. Once crispy and the mixture has dried up, pour 3 to 4 tablespoon adobo sauce and cook until liquid is fully absorbed by the meat. Set aside.

4. Poach the egg : boil water in a saucepan. Add vinegar. Once boiling, crack the small egg in a small bowl. Slide into the boiling water and poach for 3 minutes. Set aside on a plate.

5. Remove the crusts of the wheat bread and toast. Top each bread with adobo flakes then cheese. Return to the toaster oven to melt the cheese. Place on a serving plate and top with poached egg.

oh simple lang ito mga parekoy, bili ka lang ng Century Tuna Hot and Spicy saka 3 single balot ng skyflakes... durugin mo lang ang skyflakes (close to powder) then ihalo mo lang sa tuna... and that's it.... o di ba simple lang? sensya na, laking kanto din ako at alam ko ang budget friendly pulutan.... try mo and magugustuhan mo...
