kahit ilagay nyo picture nyo dito if alam nyo pangalagaan sarili nyo

i think it's just a matter of choice and for whatever reason let's respect it.  If they are willing to share then be glad, if they are not then just leave it that way.. for all we know they must have a valid reason.

The best way to know if someone is real is through eb's .. here, you'll be able to see him/her in person and talk to him/her.

Completely right, Ms. Bella. I respect the views of people who wish to keep their real identities hidden, and am appreciative of those who want to share some of their personal details to others.

I merely answered the question posed by the OP.

And yes, I'm in favor of going to EB's... I just hope I have the time.

Indeed Ms. Rai, but going to an EB involves a significant effort on the person's part, and thus this is only usually done when the said person has already made up his or her mind to reveal his or her identity. And in an EB, you also learn the identities of the people who you meet - it works both ways.

This is unlike posting a (real) picture of oneself in a forums, where many people lurk behind the shadows in a mask of anonymity - you cannot know who they are, but they can know who you are.
