ayan - bakbakan na. tapos na rin ang regular season umpisa na ang playoffs hehe.
M.I.L.K. is an epic photographic celebration of what it is to be part of a family, share the gift of friendship and more than anything else, to be loved. Inspired by the 1950s landmark photographic exhibition "The Family of Man", M.I.L.K. began as a worldwide search to develop a collection of extraordinary and geographically diverse images portraying humanity’s "Moments of Intimacy, Laughter and Kinship" (M.I.L.K.). This search took the form of a global photographic competition in 1999.

NBA Power Rankings: Spurs top final rankings of 2013-14 season
from
Y! Sports
1. San Antonio Spurs (62-20; last week's ranking: 1): The Spurs have so far impressively responded from their loss in the 2013 NBA Finals. Now, they'll try to use that disappointment as fuel for the playoffs.
2. Oklahoma City Thunder (59-23; last week's ranking: 2): Kevin Durant averaged a career-best 32 points this season. He averaged 30.8 in four games against the Grizzlies.
3. Los Angeles Clippers (57-25; last week's ranking: 3): The heated rivalry between the Clippers and Warriors renews in the playoffs. The teams got testy on Christmas, and their tempers don't figure to cool down in the postseason.
4. Miami Heat (54-28; last week's ranking: 4): The reigning NBA champions enter the playoffs with one victory in their past six games. LeBron James averaged 31.1 points in April.
5. Houston Rockets (54-28; last week's ranking: 5): Houston won its season series 3-1 against first-round opponent Portland. Dwight Howard averaged 25.5 points and 13.5 rebounds against the Blazers.
6. Indiana Pacers (56-26; last week's ranking: 8 ): The East's top-seeded Pacers lost six of 10 games going into the postseason. Facing struggling Atlanta in the first round could help their confidence.
7. Portland Trail Blazers (54-28; last week's ranking: 6): Second-year guard Damian Lillard is making his first playoff appearance. He never played in the NCAA tournament.
8. Golden State Warriors (51-31; last week's ranking: 7): With Andrew Bogut sidelined, the Warriors hope center Festus Ezeli, who has been sidelined with a knee injury, can make his season debut in the playoffs.
9. Memphis Grizzlies (50-32; last week's ranking: 11): Memphis is a scary opponent for the Thunder. The Grizzlies knocked Oklahoma City, which was missing Russell Westbrook, out of the playoffs last season.
10. Dallas Mavericks (49-33; last week's ranking: 9): The Spurs swept Dallas in four games this season. Dirk Nowitzki averaged 18.5 points and 16.7 percent 3-point shooting versus the Spurs.
11. Phoenix Suns (48-34; last week's ranking: 10): Phoenix fell shy of making the playoffs in the West, but rookie coach Jeff Hornacek is still a legitimate Coach of the Year candidate.
12. Chicago Bulls (48-34; last week's ranking: 13): The Bulls will again have to make their playoff push with Derrick Rose on the sideline.
13. Toronto Raptors (48-34; last week's ranking: 12): Coach Dwane Casey's agent met with Toronto GM Masai Ujiri last week. Casey is expected back.
14. Brooklyn Nets (44-38; last week's ranking: 14): Kevin Garnett and the Nets are hoping the extra days off – and no back-to-backs – will help them in the playoffs.
15. Washington Wizards (44-38; last week's ranking: 15): The Wizards are in the postseason for the first time since 2008 and also for the first time in the post-Gilbert Arenas era.
16. Charlotte Bobcats (43-39; last week's ranking: 16): Charlotte will enter its first playoff appearance since 2010 with wins in three straight games and eight of its past 10 contests.
17. Atlanta Hawks (38-44; last week's ranking: 17): The Hawks are making their sixth straight playoff appearance. They split their four games against the Pacers this season.
18. Minnesota Timberwolves (40-42; last week's ranking: 18): Assuming Rick Adelman leaves, a source said Minnesota's coaching wish list includes Tom Izzo, Fred Hoiberg and Stan Van Gundy.
19. New York Knicks (37-45; last week's ranking: 19): Outside of president Steve Mills, everyone else on the front-office and coaching staffs could be replaced by Phil Jackson.
20. Denver Nuggets (36-46; last week's ranking: 20): Denver's 10-year playoff streak came to an end this season. Long-time Nuggets athletic trainer Jim Gillen retired after 23 years.
21. New Orleans Pelicans (34-48; last week's ranking: 21): Guard Pierre Jackson, whose rights are owned by the Pelicans, plans to play for New Orleans in the Las Vegas Summer League.
22. Cleveland Cavaliers (33-49; last week's ranking: 22): Kyrie Irving said he doesn't "have a definitive answer" on whether he will accept a max contract offer from the Cavs this summer.
23. Detroit Pistons (29-53; last week's ranking: 24): The Pistons are looking for a new general manager and coach this summer.
24. Sacramento Kings (28-54; last week's ranking: 23) Forward Rudy Gay has a tough decision as to whether to opt out of the final year of his contract paying him $19.3 million.
25. Los Angeles Lakers (27-55; last week's ranking: 25): The Lakers will have a busy offseason this summer. The team figures to look drastically different next season.
26. Utah Jazz (25-57; last week's ranking: 26): The big questions for the Jazz this offseason is whether they will bring back coach Tyrone Corbin and re-sign free agent Gordon Hayward.
27. Boston Celtics (25-57; last week's ranking: 28): When asked after the season finale if he wanted to play for the Celtics next season, point guard Rajon Rondo said, "Next question."
28. Orlando Magic (23-59; last week's ranking: 27): Magic assistant general manager Scott Perry is an expected candidate for GM openings with Detroit and Cleveland, a source said.
29. Philadelphia 76ers (19-63, last week's ranking: 29): About the only good news that will come out of this forgettable season is Michael Carter-Williams likely winning Rookie of the Year.
30. Milwaukee Bucks (15-67; last week's ranking: 30): The Bucks finish this season with the NBA's worst record, and will have the best odds during the draft lottery on May 20.

Joakim Noah is NBA DPOY
DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah has been named the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year.
"This is very humbling to be in this situation right now," Noah said at a news conference.
Noah also took time to thank coach Tom Thibodeau conceding, "Without your system, this wouldn't be possible."
Noah dedicated his award to his beloved mentor, Tyrone Green, who passed away last week.
"This award goes to somebody who I'll never forget," Noah said. "Somebody who just passed and meant so much to me, who believed in me. Mr. Green, I love you and I appreciate you and I know you're smiling down right now really proud. This award goes to you."
Noah is in the midst of the best season of his professional career, averaging 12.6 points, 11.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game during the regular season.
Aside from serving as the defensive anchor for Thibodeau's system, Noah has also become an even bigger leader on and off the floor for his teammates after the loss of Derrick Rose (knee surgery) and the trade of Luol Deng to Cleveland.
"Each year I think he's gotten better and better," Thibodeau said. "And I think that's a testament to his will and determination. And he's improved in many different areas -- everyone talks about the passing and his defense but offensively his scoring, his leadership, his professionalism (have grown)."
Noah picked up 100 first-place votes and earned 555 of a possible 1,125 points; each first-place vote is worth five points, a second-place vote is worth three points and a third-place vote is worth one point.
Indiana's Roy Hibbert (166 points, eight first-place votes) and the Los Angeles Clippers' DeAndre Jordan (121 points, eight first-place votes) finished second and third, respectively.
Noah becomes the first Bull since Michael Jordan to win the prestigious award. Jordan won the award in 1988. The emotional center also has a strong chance to make the All-NBA first team. Noah made sure to acknowledge several teammates by name -- making sure they receive recognition as well.
"This award is not about me," Noah said. "Even though I get to go home with that weird looking dude ... it's not even a great defensive stance. But this is about our team."
Noah's award isn't the last time the Bulls have a chance to earn some individual honors -- teammate Taj Gibson is considered a strong candidate for Sixth Man of the Year, while Thibodeau figures to be in the running for Coach of the Year.

Bulls' Noah the Defensive Player of the Year
LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. (AP) -- There were some emotional moments and some funny stories as Joakim Noah accepted the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year award on Monday, like this one.
The Chicago Bulls' center recalled a grueling workout with coach Tom Thibodeau.
''I told Thibs, 'If we weren't winning games, I would really, really hate you,''' he said. ''And he said, 'Trust me, Jo, I feel the same way about you.'''

San Antonio's Popovich named Coach of the Year
San Antonio (AFP) - Gregg Popovich, who guided the San Antonio Spurs to the league's best record this season, was named Tuesday as the NBA Coach of the Year for the third time in his career.
The Spurs, sparked by big man Tim Duncan and backcourt stars Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, finished with a 62-20 regular-season mark to claim a home-court edge throughout the NBA playoffs.
Popovich, who also won the award in 2012 and 2003, joined Pat Riley and Don Nelson as the only three-time winners of the award.

Gregg Popovich named NBA Coach of the Year
San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich was named NBA Coach of the Year on Tuesday, making him the third coach in league history to win the Red Auerbach Trophy three times.
Popovich has received the league's top coaching honor in two of the past three seasons and joins Don Nelson and Pat Riley as a three-time winner.
"This award with Coach Auerbach here belongs to a lot of people," Popovich said. "I'm honored and very thankful.
"When you win an award, it gets down to the players. Players do the work, and players do the winning. They've been unbelievable for me, allowed me to coach them for a long time, and without their play, their diligence and their professionalism, I know this wouldn't happen."
In a career full of masterful coaching performances, Popovich may have delivered his best in season No. 18.
The Spurs entered the season thinking about the devastating loss to the Miami Heat in last summer's classic NBA Finals. Thought to be too old to challenge LeBron James and the mighty Heat, the Spurs took the defending champions to seven games but couldn't close it out for the franchise's fifth title.

Goran Dragic of Phoenix Suns is 2013-14 Most Improved Player of the year.
Phoenix Suns guard Goran Dragic, who enjoyed a career season, was named the NBA's most improved player, the league announced Wednesday.
Dragic received 408 of a possible 1,134 points, including 65 first-place votes, from a panel of 126 sports writers and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada. Lance Stephenson of the Indiana Pacers (158 points, 13 first-place votes) and Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans (155 points, 16 first-place votes) finished second and third, respectively.
Led by Dragic, the Suns were one of the league's biggest surprises, improving 23 games from last season while narrowly missing the playoffs with a 48-34 record. Dragic claiming the award came one day after Jeff Hornacek finished second to San Antonio's Gregg Popovich in coach of the year voting.
Dragic, who entered the season with a career scoring average of 9.5 points a game, put up a career-best 20.3 a game to go along with averages of 5.9 assists and 3.2 rebounds. He shot just over 50 percent from the field.
Teammate Channing Frye lauded Dragic on Twitter.
Congratulations to @Goran_Dragic winning Most Improved. He is a elite player. I'm glad that I've had a chance to see him grow over the yrs

M.I.L.K. is an epic photographic celebration of what it is to be part of a family, share the gift of friendship and more than anything else, to be loved.

NBA bans Clippers owner Sterling for life over race remarks
NEW YORK - The NBA banned Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life and fined him the maximum $2.5 million Tuesday for "deeply offensive and harmful" racist comments that sparked a national firestorm.
Three days after a recording surfaced of Sterling urging his girlfriend not to publicly associate with blacks, NBA commissioner Adam Silver removed the 80-year-old billionaire from the league and urged owners to start the process of forcing him to sell the team he bought in 1981.
