Here’s what happens when a potential text scammer messages someone who has too much time on their hands…. hilarity ensues!


Last Monday May 26, 2014 I received typical text with the phrase “This is my new roaming number.”

We all know that this is a scammer. So like any “normal” person, I replied.


In my response, I made the texter think that I fell for it.  So the texting went on and on then he began asking for money. So like any “normal” person I sent him 1 peso and yes I even lined up at BDO account just to send him 1 freaking peso. Wala lang just to entertain ourselves. We were at SM anyway.

So now, we were  curious on how a scammer can easily open a Phone Money Account. Thru our research, you only have to present one valid ID at any telco ranch to open an account. So should the telcos  scrutinize every ID card presented? I don’t know if the big telcos should do something about this.


Anyway, dear text scammer person…. BOOMPANES!

This guy must be laughing his as off while he's doing it.
