DISASTERS EVERYWHERE. in just a month, the world was shaken, rattled and devastated by disasters with great magnitude. the series of earthquake and aftershocks from bohol to indonesia down to mexico. the waves of killer typhoons in the philippines and just hours ago, rare floodings in riyadh saudi arabia and the series of twisters and hail storms in the arabian gulf. the series of 80 tornadoes that touched down in the US midwest and a swift killer storm. and the war in syria and egypt.  ano ang nangyayari sa ating mundo???

I'm not sure if there ever was a time na wala masyadong mga ganito. There have always been wars, famine, natural disasters and whatnot. Perhaps mas obvious lang ngayon because our world is increasingly getting smaller, and it's easier for the average joe to learn of what happened in far away places unlike before na very limited ang scope ng media and outlets of information are severely lacking.

Pwede din na totoo mas madami ngayon mga ganyan, perhaps global warming is really happening or a polar shift even. Anyway one can only do their best to be positive amidst all these things. Personally I don't think the world is about to come to an end, at least I don't think about it much at all.

Human beings have been predicting the end of the world and the collapse of society as we know it since way back. 15th century in Munster and the second coming of Christ, 1999 the great king of the mongols will arrive, 2000 millennium bug, 12 21 2012 Mayan calendar ending thus the world and so on and so forth.

The world as we know it will definitely come to an end, no doubt about it. The sun will engulf this little planet of ours eventually pero there is no telling what's to happen before all that. Just be the best that you can be, and try to be as positive as you can. The media thrives on bad news and negativity. six, Violence and Fear sells.

With that knowledge in mind you also have to proactively guard your mind from too much negativity, or else you would become a cynic, a pessimist, depressed or violent yourself.

I don't often watch the news, yung iba nga dito ko nalang nalakaman. I stay away from that as much as I can. There's just too much sadness out there and as naive as it may sound, I'd like to focus more on the good side of life whenever I can.

oh i forgot to mention 2 volcanoes erupted 1 hour after the other in indonesia just yesterday.

disasters happen everyday.. war in the middle east, famine in africa, earthquakes, volcanic erruption, violent storms. man-made disasters or mother nature's wrath, lahat tayo apektado.
the increased number of typhoons na naranasan natin might be the result of this so-called climate change. the world is changing, there's no turning back. this is the result of man's negligence and greed (but not all of the disasters were caused by man - can't blame man for a volcanic eruption under the sea[unless triggered by a nuclear bomb or chain reaction of his doings]).
there's no place that is safe for us to hide. the only thing we can do is embrace this change and adjust to whatever beasts nature will unleash, for sure, this won't stop here.
Let's pray to God that we can all survive any apocalypse/rapture that will be brought upon us...

keya nga paulit ulit yan mangyayari .. kung biblia ang pag uusapan .. at kung naniniwala ka sa biblia .. ang sabi sa apokalipsis eh "kapag naituro na sa lahat ang salita ng Dios saka darating ang wakas" .. sinasabi din na mag kakaroon ng sakit, lindol, ibat ibang sakuna, kaharian laban sa kaharian .. pero yung pinaka malaking kapighatian .. na hindi pa nangyayari sa buhay ng tao .. pag nangyari na yun .. saka ang wakas .. means wala pa tayong nakikita o nararamdaman na malaking kapighatian .. hindi pa kasi daw yun nangyayari .. kung literal ang pag uusapan .. kung spiritual ang pag babatayan .. mahirap din iexplain ..
