Traveling or going to certain places like in visayas or mindanao, using smart is definitely not a good idea.

just got back from butuan. i had a very hard time communicating with my colleagues. signal keeps cutting off.

i swear i'm not gonna use smart again.

I've had no problems using my Smart line in Davao, Cebu, Dumaguete and CDO.

I guess it really depends on which area you're in - better ask the locals which network has the best connectivity in their area.

well if you're traveling do it my way

get a second or even third phone so you could see which service provider is better

on the location you are visiting.. and having more than one phone

can save you and keep you connected specially on emergency situation

where you drain your phone battery and you cant get to charge your phone

dual sims are good too but it's still better to have a spare phone like me

i have 4 phones, i always bring 3 when i go out..

mas mainam talaga na alamin yung communication system sa isang lugar na pupuntahan, to be prepared. Sa line of work namin, on the first phase ng trabaho at hindi pa established ang camp... we use sattelite phone kaya walang problema sa comm....

thanks for sharing sir tonyboy

hmm akala ko ba mas wide ang reach ng smart especially sa provinces? Nagpunta kaming ilocos dati hirap ng signal pero sa smart buhay na buhay.

the best you can do is get those dual sim phones since mura lang naman sim nowadays and the phones are even cheaper.  It is also way safer to leave your Iphones and S5s behind since you won't be too worried about being mugged.  This is especially useful pag wala ka sariling vehicle when travelling.

True, wala pa ako nakita network na covered ang buong Pilipinas.  every network has its own Achille's heel.

I'm using Sun naman and network here in Davao is good. Visited Surigao last weekend at dun ako totally walang signal. My whole 3 days of stay there, incommunicado.

Sabi ng isang may crush sakin hindi daw ako gwapo, malakas lang ang dating.
