Karma? according to statistics...kapag nagustuhan mo ang post/thread ng author you CAN give him/ her karma accordingly...
so let's focus on the word CAN...which implies that it is the reader's initiative or it is in his ability and his/her own volition to give credit where credit is due...
Likewise din sa Smite, same meaning, but, let's face the fact, who in his or her right mind does smite when this is a social networking site? Answer: Haters, Bashers, Backstabbers, etc...
They can also use the anti Karma, which is smite which is good to a point, but when used in the wrong way, which is to target hardworking users/ posters who only wish to establish friendship and healthy discussions among the boards...
So, if it comes down to one thing, if there are bashers, haters and backstabbers, doesn't it follow that we can counter them by using our ability to use Karma in order to cancel out the targetted person...
I think, here in our midst, i can say that users like ms. bella, sir jose calderon and sir 10reason are targetted and their Karma reduced at an alarming rate...I think that like most of us, we don't care if we get our Karma deducted, but not to a point that you see it disappear in a matter of days, wherein you have invested your time and got those Karma while enjoying the experience...
I think it's about time we fight SMITE with KARMA, only to neutralize the effect of the shameless use against high profile users...
Try to practice "Previous Karma + Addtl. Karma = New Karma" in order to make it as a reference...and a reminder to everyone that you have reached that point and if you are targetted, the concerned members can give Karma to restore what is wrongfully taken from you...
