If you have ever heard one of the following phrases before - rest assured - you have been friend zoned.
1. "You Are My Best Friend Ever!"
Who doesn't want to be someone's best friend right? Except when we are talking about the girl you so much love. When you get this line from the girl you desire it should turn on a red light for you just because girls will never date their best friends.
2. "I Just Don't Want To Risk Losing You As A Friend"
Well, as the title puts it. She sees you as a friend and she wants to keep it that way meaning: you as a friend. In other words: She is very comfortable knowing you are hanging in her friend zone. Of course you, on the other hand, have different plans in mind.
3. "Let's Just Try Being Good Friends First And Then See Where That Leads."
WARNING: Do not get your hopes too high on this one because, unfortunately, chances are it's not going to happen. In her words she's telling you she would like you to be her good friend for now until..
4. She Goes On And On Telling You About Other Guys In Her Life
Does she often complain about her mixed feelings for other guys, or even worse, discussing her current relationships with you?
Allow me to explain: Once you have reached a point where she is comfortable enough to talk to you about guys she likes it's because in her mind you will never be one of those guys. Meaning she's involved emotionally with others but not with you because, you are just a friend.
5. "I Feel I Can Tell You Anything."
Sounds truly great, doesn't it? Well, it does, if you have been in a relationship with a girl for a while but if you haven't.. It's a friend zone sign. I'll explain: A girl will never reveal everything to a guy she really likes. She will usually wait a little bit into a relationship before she will feel comfortable enough to start telling.. well, pretty much anything. So if you have found yourself in the role of her human diary and you are not even going out with her then wake up and smell the barb wire - you have been friend zoned.
6. "You Are Truly An Awesome Guy It's Just I'm Not Physically Attracted To You."
This one is truly hurts, I know. Being with a girl you have true feelings for and even physically attracted to and all she has to give in return is that awful line. Although this line may seem to be the sign of "Game Over" it's not! More on that will follow.
7. "I Think It Would Be Best If We Just Stay Friends."
When she says that.. well, that's exactly what she means.
Meaning:You are in my friend zone and that is precisely why I can't even imagine going out on a date with you.
8. She Will Not Engage In Flirtatious Talk Or Act With You
Some claim that flirting is innocent, that couldn't be more far from the truth. In most cases, people tend to flirt with those they are attracted to or with those they can potentially be attracted to given the right conditions. Flirting is used by most girls to hint at attraction, tease and encourage the guy they like to chase after them. If there are no signs for flirtatious talk or act, it means it's not going down that road you've hoped for.
9. "You Are Like A Brother To Me."
Probably, the most dreaded line of them all and for a good reason too.Deep inside, you know that no girl ever dates her brother. As bleak as it may seem, even this dreadful line may be amended.
10. She Is Going On A Date.. With Someone Else
Ouch. No. This is the most dreaded of them all for the simple reason:If she's dating someone else, then there is absolutely no doubt that your place is well secured in her friend zone and although everything may seem lost at this point I want you to know that..
It isn't! I want you to know that breaking out of friend zone IS possible.
