The Foie-ck A Duck Burger

This burger is banned in California and several other countries around the world due to its inclusion of foie gras -- a controversial ingredient made from the livers of fattened geese or ducks.

Ketchup

The French take their cuisine so seriously that they have banned the use of this popular condiment in primary schools except for once per week when students can enjoy it with their French fries.

Kinder Surprise Eggs

Our neighbours to the south have barred this popular toy-filled chocolate treat because the toy inside supposedly presents a choking hazard.

Raw Milk

In both the U.S. and Canada, the sale of raw - or unpasteurized - milk is illegal, due to fears it contains more harmful bacteria that milk that has been treated through the process of pasteurization. People in Europe, Africa and elsewhere in the world frequently consume raw dairy.

Haggis

Americans of Scottish descent cannot enjoy this traditionally-made dish due to the FDA's ban on the inclusion of sheep lungs in food products.

Papaya

While they might be OK with raw milk, the European Union draws the line at genetically engineered papayas. (All genetically modified foods must have an application for import and sale in the EU, and no one has submitted on behalf of the fruit yet).

Yellow No. 5

Commonly used as a food colourant in packaged goods and even cheddar cheese, tartrazine - aka Yellow No. 5 - is banned in Norway and Austria but still widely used throughout North America.

Farm-Raised Salmon

Experts already tout the health benefits of consuming wild-caught salmon, but Australia and New Zealand have gone one step further and banned farm-raised varieties, which are often fed diets high in genetically modified ingredients.

Bawal din ata ito pero mukhang masarap.

Isa sa pinakagusto kong matikman yung anlaking drumstick ng turkey.
