A sixually transmitted disease (STD)  is any disease that is passed by sixual contact including vaginal, anal or oral six.  If you are sixually active, you are at risk for contracting an STD. This is because you are exposed to everyone else your sixual partner has ever had six with before.

You cannot tell if a potential partner has an STD just by looking at them. Many sixually transmitted diseases  have no symptoms. However you should avoid sixual contact with anyone who has sores in the genital area.

The only way to be 100% safe from contracting an STD is to abstain from any sixual contact. Barring abstinence, using a latex condom properly used, will prevent STD’s and unwanted pregnancies.

Left untreated, sixually transmitted diseases may lead to serious health problems, up to an including death. Testing is often free or low cost and confidential. If you had unprotected six with anyone who you are not sure is 100% STD free, you should be tested as soon as possible.

Never assume that an older sixual partner is disease-free. STDs have been on-the-rise among adults 45 years old and older. Rising divorce rates and the lack of condom use among oder adults not worried about pregnancy has lead to this increase.

Protection when needed. But avoidance is the best option.

The best defense is abstinence. That or stick to one partner. And let your partner stick to one (you) as well.

I'm not as faithful. I worry that I already have std. But I cannot be seen in an STD clinic, no way. Does anybody know of a doctor who does home treatment for this kind of disease?
(I have my reasons for not wanting to be seen in such a clinic, no offense to anyone)
