yup - companies really do factor in where you graduated from.

sa UST ako nun grumaduate. di naman ako valedictorian or honor, average lang. kaya nagtaka ako kung bakit nakatanggap ako ng invitation to join this company sa may bandang salcedo village. well sige pumayag ako. it turns out they only send invites to grads from UST, UP, DLSU tsaka ADMU.

I ended up staying over six years with the company, sa legal department ako una then lumipat sa admin dept. umalis nalang ako sa company nung malapit na akong pumunta dito sa tate.

M.I.L.K. is an epic photographic celebration of what it is to be part of a family, share the gift of friendship and more than anything else, to be loved. Inspired by the 1950s landmark photographic exhibition "The Family of Man", M.I.L.K. began as a worldwide search to develop a collection of extraordinary and geographically diverse images portraying humanity’s "Moments of Intimacy, Laughter and Kinship" (M.I.L.K.). This search took the form of a global photographic competition in 1999.

ito ang masakit na katotohanan na kailangang tanggapin kasi yung mga mayayaman na may-ari ng kompanya marami sa kanila ang graduate sa mga school na exclusive....so ganun talaga... all we can do is hate it but can't really do anything about it to make a big difference kasi i'm sure if not all, lahat tayo proud sa pinanggaling school... same thing with them.... very simple logic

Never forget who you are, for surely the world won’t. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.

Sa call centers ba it matters if you are a graduate of big universities? Parang hindi naman yata. Communication skills takes precedent.

pero remember discrimination is legal dyan sa pilipinas. paano kamo? as long as nakikita mo sa mga wanted ads na "wanted ..... male, 21 to 35 yrs old....." or "female.... 21 to 29 yrs old...."
