a. social media bridged the distance among families, relatives and friends... before, it was costly to call from other areas particularly abroad to our loved ones... now, it's almost for free... a good internet connection and you can talk face to face with them...
b. it also expanded our understanding and horizons with other people, cultures and walk of life... we can now easily see others in ways not possible before then...
c. the advent of social media also made sharing easier... pictures, files, conversations etc... now, we can get to talk and research easier with things we want to know and learn....
