MANILA – A 15-year-old boy surrendered to Manila Police on Tuesday and admitted to blowing up a toilet cubicle in a comfort room inside a Binondo mall on April 26.

The suspect surrendered to authorities accompanied by his mother.

He said the recent death of his girlfriend caused him to be depressed and led him to blow up the cubicle.

“Grabe kasi ang pinapagdaanan ko sa buhay ko,” he said.

He admitted that he also planned to plant a bomb in his school.

“’Yung mga guidance doon, kung hindi bantay-sarado, siguradong napasabog ko na ‘yun,” he said.

The suspect was turned over to the Tactical Investigation division of the Manila Police District (MPD) Women and Children’s Desk to determine the accuracy of his claims.

Police, meanwhile, was alarmed that the teen is knowledgeable in making improvised explosive devices.

“May kasabihan kami na little knowledge is dangerous. Hindi ‘yung pagnakita mo ay gagawin mo kaagad,” said PO2 Romulos Ramilo of the MPD Bomb Squad.

Police said they will wait for the evaluation of the Department of Social Welfare and Development before taking further action

i learned to make bombs gaya ng sinabi mo while experimenting on making rockets at 12 years old. alam ko pa nga pano gawin at that age para may shrapnel eh. i am not bragging that i was a potential terrorist at a younger age. my point is that I WAS NOT!

anything that is explosive or flammable material

can make a toilet blow up with the right placing of the explosive

remember from the human manure un the septic produce methane gas

which is flammable and in a tight sealed space this could explode

like my cousin in la union did, he placed a picolo in a toilet bowl

well picolo is a water proof fire cracker, but when it exploded the whole toilet bowl

shattered into pieces in it was very nasty so if this boy succeeded on

hitting the septic reserve in a mall it would be like the gas leak explosion
