1. Focus in doing one thing at a time
Are you trying to do a few things in the same time? Multi-tasking sounds cool, but it can be something not productive if you are not handling it well. If you can do 2 things in the same time, it doesn't mean that you should. Studies have shown that focus in doing one thing at a time is more productive than doing few things in the same time.
When you focus in doing just one thing, you will tend to put in more effort and concentrate to do the task with your best. In the end, you will do it better and with greater quality. Always remember this; it is always better to have a project fully completed than 3 projects half-done.
2. Reward yourself
In order to help you get things done and be more productive, you can use the reward system to make you move. What you can do is that once you get the task done, reward yourself. For example, after you have read the book or write the article that you supposed to get done, you can reward yourself with a nap, a movie, playing games, sports, hanging out with friends and more.
The moment you follow through this practice, you will train yourself to be more discipline. In fact, this is how life should be. You have to make sure you get the most important tasks done in the morning, and then only do what you feel like doing. This will definitely get you what you desire in your life.
3. Start your day early
Train yourself and make it a habit to arise early in the morning. You can wake up an hour earlier to get the most important task done first before you go to work. Do you know that most successful people actually dedicate their success to early rising? If you wake up an hour earlier and do the most important task of the day, you will feel lighter throughout your day.
And the morning time is the most productive time because you are still fresh and full of energy. If it is late night, you may feel tired and exhausted to do other stuff. Furthermore, early morning has less distraction compare to evening time.
