Title: Mutya ng Cavite

Ingredients:

1 cup butter

1 onion

1 cloves garlic, minced

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

5 cups fish broth

2 cups milk

2 tablespoons oil, divided

250 grams white fish fillets

250 grams mussels, beards removed

250 grams squid, skin and ink sacs removed

250 grams shrimp, shelled and deveined

Salt and white pepper

½ cup white wine

Chopped spring onions

 Procedure:

In a pan, melt butter sauté onions and garlic.

Stir in flour.

Add fish broth and milk and bring to a boil.
In a separate pan, heat one tablespoon of the oil and sauté fillets until cooked.
 Remove from pan.
 Add remaining oil and sauté mussels, squid, and shrimp.
 Transfer all the seafood to the flour and milk mixture.
Season to taste with white pepper.
 Cover and cook until mussel shells open.
Pour in white wine and heat through.
Transfer to a soup tureen and serve with chopped spring onions on top.

yes admin, tagaytay yan pero ang main nyan sa likod bahay ko lang...water camp na ngaun.....

If I am not mistaken ito yung Josephine restaurant na na feature sa isang tv show. Specialty nga nila yung seafood. Its something like that in the picture sa post ni TS.

Sarap nya viej, luto tayo nyan sa EB... daming tahong pa naman sa bacoor...

aba tol nok... nagagawi ako sa bacoor ah.. hmmm.... masarap nga yung tahong na kinakain ko dun, very tasty, odorless and yummy... woooootttt!!!!

ok lang tol, hindi mahal hindi mura pero solve ka sa sarap.....pm mo nlang ako pag pupunta ka, pinsan ko ung bartender dun...patagayan nlang kita... :peace:

Oh yeah, I remember this. Gustong gusto ito ng ka-dinner ko when we had it. It was an uncommon soup, and masarap siya, hindi tinipid sa ingredients the last time. She couldn't get enough of it.

As for Josephine's (Tagaytay is what I know about), okay lang naman, not too pricey, they have lobsters too in case you're feeling fancy. The venue is petty spacious, over looking taal. Kinda old school ang dating, pero if you want the hotel restaurant kinda vibe with the cathedral ceilings and numerous staffs then you might like it. It's not a hotel, but the interior kind of reminds of those old hotel coffee shops. Parking is kind of a b*tch usually on a weekend lunch time, other than that, it's a pretty decent choice.

Akala ko yung mutya yung chef. Pero ok na rin to mukang masarap!
