Love vs Lust

Karina Farek - an amazing animator and illustrator, who likes deep sea fish, werewolves, anime, Billy Joel, and cold weather. She recently created a series of 'Lust vs. Love' illustrations.
The illustrations perfectly depict the passion and deep affection that a person feels when in love, while when in lust, all they feel is an intense desire for gratification. Farek compared these two feelings by illustrating them in the same situations. Keep on scrolling to take a look at her understanding of lust and love.

well di nman talaga natin masasabi na kung lust ei lust lang meron nmn sa lust nag simula pero nag last long sila and minsan nag simula sa love pero un pla lust lang... lust and love can be very tricky dapat alam mo kung ano nararamdaman mo sa kapareha mo..
nice post carla pero in your own opinion can you say na 50-50? or dapat its more than the other? mukhang may authority ka sa ganyang mga bagay ei >:D >:D >:D

There's a thin line daw bet love and lust kung anong line yun its up to you hahahah😜

seriously, if love is present, lust is a wonderful thing in that relationship... but if it's the other way around, i don't think that relationship will last longer...

para sa akin hindi naman talaga magkaaway and love at lust...laging magkasama yan... pero may point ka dun sa sinabi mo na minsan nagsisimula sa love... kaya nga may teleserye sina Anton at Andeng na "A Love to Lust" nagsimula sa love tapos nagka-Tondengan din sa huli haha! :)) :peace:

??? Mahirap din talagang malaman kung lust or love kung base sa illustration lalo na yung giving flowers or taking the bill for dinner, normal gesture kasi ito wether we love or like someone lalo na sa mga pinoy. Siguro in other culture pwede ang mga ito na basehan though hindi pa rin ito 100% accurate.... but its a nice illustration and a bit funny with lots of meaning kasi when you look at it, its defining how love really works in different kind of situation and i can say that it is really love.

I think there must be a clear level of dfference between the two feelings.
If you're in a relatonship...love and lust , these two feelings go hand in hand with each other. It is interlocked both emotionally and physically ...to thoroughly love your partner...you must be attracted to her/him physically and sixually...in short...you have to lust over that person with whom you are emotionally involved with. Otherwise...kung lust lang yan...that is purely carnal and will only end up in a frenetic and mostly, chaotic mixed up feeling based on sixual satisfaction only. Mababaw...walang sense...and you'll realize after the act of selfishly and foolishly indulging yourself in such sixual activities...wala pa lang kahulugan yun para sayo...ganun lang.
Love and Lust...2 emotions , that without the one...it is very hard to feel or have the other.
Love is a profound emotion that it not only involves desire for your partner but also it needs commitment and compromise...Yung lust naman madalas nagkakaron yan ng negative connotation...kase a lot of people now a days can give themselves and be part of someone physically pero wala yang deeper sentiments like commitment and compromise...kaya in the long run...what they have cannot be considered as "meeting of mind and soul" as how Will Shake put it....but it's just entirely something else ...just a mingling of two bodies together.
but put Love and Lust together...you'll realize six isn't everything. It's just a part of that immense feeling called LOVE. :book1:
